Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the modern times, with the help of web, air technology, import/export and famous traditions, globalisation has spread quickly. A large number of human population believe that this surge in international relation is a positive development, but, in my opinion, there are a number of drawbacks to this trend.
On the one hand, people believe that interaction between two or more different countries through the globalisation has several benefits. Individuals and societies leran about various cultural norms and historic figures through this framework. Moreover, people learn about the needs of others with the help of this phenomena. Additionaly, the number of wars decreases with the passage of time because of pleasant relationship with other nations. The number of crimes can also be lowered with the intervention of external aid.
On the other hand, the negative impact of this on societies and people cannot be neglected. When countries depend on external relations for the progress of their country, they often loss their tempo,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You introduce the topic and make your position clear: you acknowledge benefits but state that there are “a number of drawbacks.” The response also gives relevant points about cultural learning, international relationships and external aid. However, the task is addressed only partially: the benefits are listed rather than explained with examples, and the drawbacks are barely developed. The final sentence stops at “they often loss their tempo,” so the argument and your opinion are left incomplete. The response is also 88 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to discuss both sides and support your view. Develop each main point with a reason or example, then finish with a clear conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction is followed by a benefits paragraph beginning “On the one hand” and a drawbacks paragraph beginning “On the other hand.” These signposts help readers identify the contrast. Within the first body paragraph, ideas move from cultural learning to relationships and aid, but the links between them are not always explained, so the paragraph reads partly as a list. The second paragraph ends abruptly, preventing a complete progression from the opposing view to a conclusion. To strengthen organisation, group related points, explain how each supports your argument, and use referencing such as “this exchange” or “such cooperation” to connect sentences more naturally.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “globalisation,” “cultural norms,” “international relation” and “external aid,” and you attempt less common expressions such as “positive development.” This gives you a useful starting range for the topic. However, several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, including “air technology,” “famous traditions,” “surge in international relation” and “loss their tempo.” Spelling slips such as “leran” and “Additionaly” also reduce accuracy. These issues do not prevent the general meaning from being understood, but they make parts of the argument unclear or awkward. Aim for precise collocations and check spelling; for example, describe “air travel” and “cultural traditions” rather than using the current phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more developed sentence forms. For example, “When countries depend on external relations for the progress of their country…” begins a subordinate clause, and the opening sentence uses a phrase describing how globalisation has spread. Most sentences communicate a basic idea, but grammatical control is uneven. In “people believe that interaction … through the globalisation has several benefits,” the article and sentence construction are problematic; “people often loss their tempo” also has an incorrect verb form and is left unfinished. There are further issues with singular and plural forms, as in “international relation.” Practise complete sentences with accurate subject–verb forms and articles, and proofread each sentence for a clear ending.
