Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is considered by some indeginous that the advancement in globalization is effective for all nations. In my opinion, I agree with this said notion because communication and other such interactions in different countries enhance cultural understanding and economic development.
To commence with, there are lots of benefits of the given statement. The predominent one is indepth understanding of different cultures. To explain it, people who often visit new places or just them onto the internet have better knowlede about other religions, traditions and languages. Migration from one area to another enables individuals to survive their lives in different environmental as well as societal interactions. For instance, stuedents who travel towards Japan for their higher studies experince japanese culture, which helps them to understand and survive in their culture. Consequently, rapid rise in globalization always promotes deep knowledge about diffent traditional cultures.
Furthur explaining my views, Another prominent benefit of globalization is rapid increase in economy. To eleborate it, when individuals travel they spend their money in travelling, hostling and for thier meals, it not only creates opportunities for residents to earn more from tourisms. People also find jobs in restaurants, hotels and in travelling agencies. For example, thousands of tourists visit England every year, due to wchich the local residents can easily find ways of earrnings. Therfore, globalization is considerd a good thing for every country.
In conclusion, although globalization has some drawbacks, it is considered one of the beneficial activity because it promotes culturism and the economy of a country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that globalisation is beneficial, and you give two relevant reasons—greater cultural understanding and economic growth. The examples of students studying in Japan and tourists visiting England help connect these points to real situations. However, the discussion is one-sided: the prompt asks you to discuss the view, but you only briefly acknowledge drawbacks in the conclusion and do not explain them. Some claims are also broad or insufficiently developed, such as saying globalisation “always promotes” cultural knowledge and is good “for every country.” To strengthen the response, consider a counterargument and explain why your position remains persuasive, while developing each example more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate benefits, and a conclusion. The progression from cultural understanding to economic effects is easy to follow, and signposts such as “For instance” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This coherent organisation is a strength. However, some linking phrases feel mechanical or repetitive, including “To commence with,” “To explain it,” and “To elaborate it.” The opening of the third paragraph, “Furthur explaining my views, Another prominent benefit,” is also awkwardly connected and capitalised. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make the relationship between sentences clearer through direct referencing and smoother links.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “globalization,” “cultural understanding,” “traditions,” “migration,” “economic development,” and “tourists.” These choices make the main ideas understandable, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, the range and control are limited by repeated or inaccurate wording. For example, “survive their lives” does not naturally express adapting to a new society, while “culturism” is not an appropriate term for cultural understanding. There are also many spelling errors, such as “indeginous,” “predomin ent,” “knowlede,” and “experince,” which make the writing less fluent to read. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for travel, culture, and economic benefits.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause in “I agree … because communication … enhance cultural understanding” and a relative clause in “students who travel towards Japan.” This shows some range, and the main message is generally recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences. In “when individuals travel they spend their money …, it not only creates opportunities,” two independent clauses are joined incorrectly, and the subject shifts from “individuals” to “it.” The sentence about migration also has unclear structure: “enables individuals to survive their lives in different environmental as well as societal interactions.” Review sentence boundaries, subject–verb relationships, and article use, then divide complex ideas into clearer clauses.
