Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address several aspects of globalisation, including the internet, air travel, trade and popular culture, and you give examples such as using AI for presentations and travelling from Dhaka by bus or plane. However, the task asks you to discuss whether increased interaction between nations is a good thing and give your own opinion. Your opening says you will discuss benefits and drawbacks, but the response does not clearly weigh these or maintain a definite position; the conclusion mainly says people need to be modern and understand technology. Several points, especially popular culture and international interaction, are only briefly mentioned. State your view directly and develop fewer points with clear explanations of how they affect people or nations.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic paragraph structure, and the sequence from the internet to travel, trade and popular culture makes the main topics easy to identify. Phrases such as “First of all,” “The second things,” and “In conclusion” signal stages in the response. However, progression is often mechanical, and the ideas within paragraphs are not always connected clearly. For example, the internet paragraph moves from AI helping with presentations to companies replacing workers without explaining the relationship in detail. The final paragraph repeats that globalisation is growing and helping people rather than bringing the discussion to a focused conclusion. Use clearer links between claims and examples, and make each paragraph develop one central point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “globalisation,” “air travel,” “GDP,” “technology” and “popular culture,” so the reader can recognise the subjects you intend to discuss. However, vocabulary is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning unclear. Examples include “a planty of benefits,” “decreases our distance,” “mejor income source,” and “popular calture.” Spelling errors such as “rapdily” and “helpfull” also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common topic phrases as complete units, such as “reduce travel time” and “a major source of income,” and check spelling and word forms before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a conditional structure beginning “if we need to anything” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” However, the range remains limited, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “internet help us” needs subject–verb agreement, while “globalisation has rapidly increasing” has an incorrect verb form. Punctuation and spacing are also inconsistent, and some sentences run together. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “although” and “which.”
