Student answer (Band 5.0)
The era of globalisation has increased rapidly among every distinctive field as of travel, trade and popular culture. I will highlight both views along with my opinion in the upcoming paragraphs.
This increased era of globalisation has dropped a huge impact on the nations world wide in each and every aspect and work area. Many inidividuals truely trust that with globalisation they get the way to more trade and facilties making them and others around the globe more successful in their own distinctive fields. In trade, it has impacted tremendously as it has increased the imports and exports around the world connecting the traders from each and every corner of the world. Moreover, many multinational companies and trading centers are also established in numerous developing comapnies providing increased employment in the area and even enhanced labour as well.
However, globalisation has even impacted the lives of the labourers as they get their wages according to the setted system and infrastructure which is used gobally. Also, because of globalisation the currency rates has also affects the trade routes as well. These rates create even global issues as well which results in the declining rates and importance as well.
To conclude, in my opinion, globalisation has played a very tremendous and crucial role in the lives of the so many people around the global. As, it has provided enhanced employment according their high skills making them use their higher potential. It provided higher level of eductaion with the migration of higher educationls from accross the globe. it has even played a highly beneficial role in the bussiness and trade market scaling every infrastructure, skills and numerous fields.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the topic by presenting benefits of globalisation, including increased trade, employment and educational opportunities, and you state a positive opinion in the conclusion. However, the task asks you to discuss the view that greater interaction between nations is beneficial and give your own opinion; the opposing paragraph does not clearly explain a distinct disadvantage. The points about wages and currency rates are difficult to interpret and are not developed with a clear example or explanation. Your position is also more explicit at the end than in the introduction, which promises to discuss “both views” without indicating your stance. Develop a focused counterargument and support each main point with a specific example to make the response more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion. Connectors such as “Moreover,” “However” and “To conclude” help signal the intended stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the second body paragraph moves from labourers’ wages to currency rates without showing how these points relate or why they demonstrate a drawback. Some linking phrases are repetitive or awkward, including “as well” several times, and the conclusion introduces education and migration without developing these ideas earlier. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each explanation directly to its main point, and ensure the conclusion summarises the argument already established.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “imports and exports,” “multinational companies,” “employment” and “migration,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited by repeated broad terms such as “globalisation,” “increased” and “fields,” while several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning unclear. For example, “dropped a huge impact” and “enhanced labour” do not express the intended ideas naturally, and “declining rates and importance” is vague. Spelling errors such as “inidividuals,” “facilties” and “comapnies” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise vocabulary for benefits and drawbacks, and check collocations and spelling when revising.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer structures, including “Many individuals truly trust that…” and the sentence beginning “Moreover, many multinational companies…”. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “the currency rates has also affects,” where the subject and verb forms do not agree, and “It provided higher level of education,” which needs an article and a clearer verb form. The opening sentence and several conclusion sentences also have incomplete or awkward grammatical patterns. Practise building accurate subject–verb structures first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for agreement, articles and punctuation.
