Student answer (Band 6.0)
Globalisation has increased due to internet, air travel, trade and popular culture in the present time. People started believing that interaction has been expanded because of globalisation which is a good thing. I think globalisation has strengthened the cross cultural relation and people to people connection by exchanging cultures and business.
Trade and popular culture becomes trend among people due to expansion of internet. Generally, people get inspiration from watching travel blogs and they get to know about other cultures. People want to experience it by themselves and for this reason traveling from one country to another country has risen. Trade relations has improved and as a result, people can use different country’s skin care products and dresses. Trade has accelerated the relations among nations and also improved disputed relations. It created borderless market for the consumers as well as for the traders.
I believe globalisation has made the path easier for countries to build good relations with obe another by sharing cultures. It is seen that people are experiencing differs foods because of the cross culture. People are getting an opportunity to learn another language because of cultural exchange through different tv programs and internet. It is a positive change for countries that they are connecting with another country people by having food and wearing their dress patterns.
To conclude, globalisation has increased connectivity and opportunity for countries and people. It's positive outcome is not helping countries to sort their differences without negotiating rather removing barriers between people. This is why, many people perceive it as a positive change of the era.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both the view that globalisation is beneficial and your own positive opinion. Relevant points include cultural exchange, access to products from other countries, travel, and improved connections between nations. The examples about travel blogs, skincare products, food, and language learning help make the discussion concrete. However, some claims are asserted rather than explained: for instance, you say trade has “improved disputed relations” but do not show how, and the point about globalisation helping countries “sort their differences” is unclear. The discussion also focuses mainly on benefits, with little consideration of why some people might disagree. Develop fewer points with clearer explanations or examples to make the response more fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your position, the body paragraphs develop related benefits, and the conclusion restates the positive view. Ideas generally progress from cultural influence and trade to broader connections between people and countries. Linking phrases such as “as a result,” “for this reason,” and “To conclude” help guide the reader. At times, however, connections are repetitive or not fully clear. The second and third paragraphs both return to cultural exchange without a distinct progression, while “It’s positive outcome” does not clearly refer back to a specific idea. Organise each body paragraph around one main benefit and use references that make the relationship between claims explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “cross cultural relation,” “cultural exchange,” “borderless market,” and “connectivity.” These choices show an attempt to discuss globalisation beyond very basic terms, and the main meaning is usually clear. However, several word choices and collocations are awkward or imprecise, such as “people to people connection,” “disputed relations,” and “experiencing differs foods.” Repetition of “people,” “countries,” and “relations” also limits flexibility. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check whether a phrase expresses the intended meaning. More precise alternatives, such as “people-to-people ties” or “resolve disputes,” would make the argument sound more natural and exact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple sentences and longer structures, including cause-and-effect clauses such as “People want to experience it by themselves and for this reason…” and a relative clause in “a positive change for countries that they are connecting…”. Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Subject–verb agreement is inconsistent in “Trade and popular culture becomes” and “Trade relations has improved”; articles and prepositions also need attention in “due to internet” and “in the present time.” The sentence beginning “It’s positive outcome” has an incorrect apostrophe, and the final sentence’s structure makes the intended relationship between outcomes unclear. Review agreement, articles, and sentence construction, then proofread punctuation and possessives.
