Student answer (Band 6.0)
Yes i agree with this opinion as all of these things mentioned has brought unity amongst nations and their citizens and people have started to understand each other's cultures and traditions. The internet is a huge place to explore people and countries but not everything shown or reported is true so people might come across some made up stereotypes of other countries and its citizens which can lead to misunderstanding and judgement so we should always verify whatever we see with different sources. The best way is to visit that country and see it for yourself whether the stereotypes are true or not which brings me to air travel, we can travel to any country easily by an aeroplane and all countries are open to welcome tourists in the best way possible which helps in the increase of globalisation. I believe it is the common people who also help in the country's globalisation by displaying their culture and traditions to the citizens of their neighbouring country which helps in forming a unity and extends a hand of friendship. And when it comes to trade, it is the responsibility of the nation's government to maintain a good relationship of trade to and fro with other nations to form an alliance that can help to build a strong frontline against a common enemy.
Globalisation should be an initiative which every nation must undertake to ensure that even they are part of the world that needs to be recognised and bonded with. Every nation of the world must form an alliance with each other in order to protect their citizens and embrace each other's cultures and traditions.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the opening—“Yes i agree”—and you discuss several relevant aspects of globalisation, including the internet, travel, cultural exchange and trade. The point that online stereotypes can cause misunderstanding is a useful qualification, and you explain how travel may help people check these impressions. However, the discussion is uneven: the internet and tourism receive some explanation, while trade is mainly linked to forming an alliance against a common enemy, without showing how trade itself benefits people or nations. The conclusion repeats the call for unity rather than drawing together the reasons discussed. Develop each main point with a specific example and explain more directly why increased interaction is beneficial, while acknowledging any limits to your agreement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an identifiable overall direction: it begins with your agreement, moves through examples of global interaction, and ends by restating the value of cooperation. Linking phrases such as “which brings me to air travel” and “when it comes to trade” help signal topic changes. However, most of the discussion is placed in one very long paragraph, so the shifts between internet, tourism, cultural exchange and trade are not clearly organised. Several sentences also carry multiple ideas joined by “and,” “but” or “which,” making the progression feel crowded. Use separate body paragraphs for distinct arguments, and make each paragraph develop one central point with a clear example and explanation. This would make the organisation easier to follow and reduce reliance on mechanical transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “stereotypes,” “globalisation,” “alliance,” and “embrace each other’s cultures and traditions.” These choices allow you to discuss both cultural and political aspects of international interaction. There are also some imprecise or unnatural expressions: “a huge place to explore people and countries” is vague, “trade to and fro” is awkward, and “a strong frontline against a common enemy” is an overly narrow and dramatic description of cooperation. Repeated use of “countries,” “nations,” and “unity” also limits variety. Aim for more precise collocations, such as describing how online platforms provide access to information or how trade agreements strengthen economic ties. This would make your ideas sound more natural and specific.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including subordinate clauses such as “so people might come across…” and “which can lead to misunderstanding.” Meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors and punctuation choices reduce accuracy. In the opening, “all of these things mentioned has brought” has a subject–verb agreement error; use “have brought.” The sentence beginning “The internet is a huge place” runs through several clauses and would be clearer if divided. Capitalise “I” consistently, and use a full stop or semicolon rather than joining complete ideas with commas. The final paragraph also relies on repeated “must” constructions. More controlled sentence boundaries and varied clause patterns would improve accuracy while preserving your ability to express complex ideas.
