Student answer (Band 5.0)
In past years, globalisation has increased due to internet, air travel, trade and popular culture. Many people think that cooutries interaction increased through globalisation is good thing. In my opinion globalisation is important for a country to know about other countries and can use their products.
To Begin with, globalisation is must, with this our country can trade with other coountries. Now we can invest in U.S stocks which will help our people to earn money by sitting at their home. Some MNCs also enter the India so by this they can get jobs in MNCs by which our people can survive in our country. They can import goods from other countries for instance country can import food products, electronic products, clothes, decorative products, luxury perfumes form other countries. Our country can export food products, perfumes, and smartphones. If the goods are imported from other countries we get to know about the culture of the other countries.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a relevant opinion, stating that globalisation is important because countries can learn about one another and use each other’s products. The examples of investment in US stocks, multinational companies creating jobs, and importing and exporting goods show some engagement with the topic. However, the response addresses the question only partially: it mainly lists economic benefits and does not discuss other perspectives or explain why increased interaction is beneficial in broader terms. The final point about learning culture is not developed, and there is no clear concluding summary. The response is also 94 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop and support the ideas. Extend the discussion with specific explanations and examples, and address the view more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic structure: an introduction is followed by a paragraph beginning “To Begin with,” and the ideas are generally related to globalisation. Linking phrases such as “for instance” and “by this” attempt to connect examples to claims. However, there is no clear overall progression beyond a list of benefits, and the paragraph combines investment, employment, imports, exports, and culture without grouping or explaining their relationships. “By this” is repeated and sometimes makes the connection unclear, while the final sentence feels added rather than developed from the preceding point. Use separate paragraphs for distinct benefits, make each topic sentence clear, and use precise referencing and transitions to show how each example supports your opinion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant set of topic words, including “globalisation,” “trade,” “invest,” “MNCs,” “import,” and “export,” which allows you to communicate several economic examples. There are also attempts at more specific vocabulary, such as “decorative products” and “luxury perfumes.” However, the range is limited and some phrases are inaccurate or awkward, including “countries interaction,” “globalisation is must,” and “enter the India.” Spelling errors such as “cooutries,” “coountries,” and “form” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural collocations and vary the language used to explain benefits, rather than relying repeatedly on “products” and “by this.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate your main points using mostly simple sentences and make some attempts to link clauses, for example, “If the goods are imported from other countries we get to know about the culture.” However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include missing articles in “due to internet” and “good thing,” the incorrect construction “globalisation is must,” and the agreement and structure problem in “Many people think that cooutries interaction increased.” There are also problems with sentence boundaries and punctuation, such as the run-on after “country.” Practise accurate article use, complete clause structures, and punctuation before adding more complex sentences.
