Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You make an attempt to discuss globalisation and give a personal view, but the response only minimally addresses the central question of whether increased interaction between nations is beneficial. The opening repeats the prompt, while the body lists the internet, air travel, trade and popular culture without clearly explaining how these create positive or negative effects between countries. For example, the point about online trade being “another way of income” is not developed with a relevant example or explanation. Your final opinion shifts to population growth, which is not the issue asked about, and it is not supported. To improve, state a clear position on globalisation and develop two relevant reasons with specific explanations or examples; keep the conclusion focused on that position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: you begin with an introduction, use “First,” “The second,” and “The third one” to introduce points, and finish with an opinion. These markers help readers recognise a list of topics. However, the ideas do not build into a clear argument, and the sequence becomes difficult to follow when “Fifth one is globalisation” repeats the main topic rather than adding a distinct supporting point. Several ideas are crowded into long stretches with little punctuation, and connections between claims are often unclear. The final sentence also introduces population growth without a transition or link to the discussion. Group related ideas into clear paragraphs, use topic sentences, and explain how each point supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary connected with the topic, including “globalisation,” “air travel,” “trade,” “popular culture,” and “traditional,” so the reader can identify the general subject. There are also attempts to express modern developments, such as “digital world” and “AI agent.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are frequent enough to make parts of the response difficult to understand, including “Porsonali,” “invinshin,” and “pashton.” Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, such as “the world 70% population is living in aisian countrise” and “the increasing of population.” Build accuracy with common topic vocabulary before trying more complex expressions, and check spelling and collocations. Choose words that express a precise benefit or drawback rather than repeating broad terms such as “popular” and “important.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to form sentences of different lengths and use some basic linking structures, including “because” and “and.” This shows an effort to connect ideas rather than relying only on isolated statements. However, sentence structures are often incomplete or difficult to follow, and errors with verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence boundaries occur throughout. For instance, “globalisation has rapidly grow” has an incorrect verb form, while “the internet is more important in averyone life” has problems with the possessive construction and article use. The long sentence beginning “The third one is trade” joins several claims without clear punctuation. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled clauses; check subject–verb agreement, verb forms and punctuation in each sentence.
