Student answer (Band 6.0)
Globalisation has increased dramatically through the internet, travelling by air, trade and popular culture in past years. Majority of people believed that increased interaction between countries through globalisation is a good thing. In my opinion, the interaction of these countries through globalisation is a good initiative. In this essay, i will support my opinion with reasons and different examples.
Through internet and air travel, many people experience the culture and ethics of other countries. When people travel to other countries, they get to know the real hospitality and nature of the people.Social media reviews are most of the time wrong. For instance, the picture about the Pakistan in the mind of western people is terrorism, extremism. But when some travellers:Luke Damat (a popular travelling influencer) went to Pakistan, He was completely shocked by the hospitality, the friendly nature of the people of Pakistan. Due to this, many other travellers came to Pakistan and got the same experience. This changed the minds of Western people about the negativity that spread through social media.
Trade between the nations is beneficial for both countries in terms of economy and friendship. When two countries do trade, it helps their ecomonmy to get the boost. The relationship of the countries get better and better. They get to know about the cultural value of each other such as European Union is a very good example of this. All the countries of this union have visa free entry for the other countries of the union, so people can travel to other countries to experience a completely different cultural values and ethics.
In my opinion, these interaction which is possible through globalisation is a good thing.People can travel by air to get some real experience of the country, the nature of the residents. Economy of the country gets better through it which is good for both nations. The trade is only the way for better realtionship between countries.
In conclusion, internet and travelling is only the way to get the some authentic and real views about any country. Trade and cultural values are assets of a nation. They can lead to better relationship between the counries.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You discuss several benefits of globalisation and make your position clear: you consider interaction between countries a positive development. The travel example about visitors to Pakistan gives relevant support, and the trade paragraph adds economic and cultural reasons. However, the discussion is weighted towards benefits, with little consideration of why some people might disagree or what limitations globalisation may have. Some claims also need fuller explanation: for example, the European Union example moves from trade to visa-free travel without clearly showing how this demonstrates the effects of globalisation. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation and a specific link back to the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a statement of opinion and a conclusion. The main ideas generally progress from travel and cultural understanding to trade and economic ties. However, the conclusion repeats points already made rather than drawing them together, and some links between ideas are abrupt. For instance, the shift from trade to visa-free entry in the European Union example needs a clearer explanation. Cohesive phrases such as “Due to this” and “In my opinion” help guide the reader, but repeated references to “countries” and “globalisation” make the flow somewhat mechanical. Use clearer topic sentences and more precise referencing to connect examples to each paragraph’s central claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “hospitality,” “interaction,” “economy,” “cultural values” and “visa free entry.” These choices make the subject clear, and the Pakistan example gives you an opportunity to use specific language. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, such as “get the boost,” “the relationship … get better and better,” and “real views.” There are also spelling errors, including “ecomonmy” and “realtionship,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise academic phrasing and check spelling carefully; for example, explain that trade can “stimulate economic growth” or “strengthen diplomatic ties” rather than relying on general expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional clauses such as “When two countries do trade” and a relative clause in “the negativity that spread through social media.” Most of the meaning remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Examples include missing articles in “Majority of people” and “the picture about the Pakistan,” subject–verb agreement in “The relationship … get better,” and the demonstrative mismatch in “these interaction.” Sentence boundaries and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in “good thing. In my opinion” and “people.People.” Work on article use, agreement, plural forms and punctuation, while continuing to practise complex sentences with accurate clause structure.
