IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how a mechanical arm works, and how the joints that make up the arm function in the same way as those in a human arm. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this diagram , it shows a machine which is same as the arm works . first of all i compare the motor that held on the back of a gripper its look like the human arm wrist ,we can grasp anything from this , now we can discuss about the two motors that are combine to each other and its look like same as the human elbow and it rotates it anywhere you want .

It is very useful for any machine . in third place we say about the base which is look as the human shoulder . all of mechanics made machine like an human body parts because it gives the idea very easily. the bread and butter of all mechanics is that make machine like drill machines , spray paints machine and weld metals . in short , the motor of lower arm, elbow and the gripper are connect with the precision control of motor which is on the computer .
