IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how a mechanical arm works, and how the joints that make up the arm function in the same way as those in a human arm. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

the given picture represents the mechanical work of arm and how function arm and human arm work similar while using joints.

overall, there are several interconnected parts which are connected with computer such as base, shoulder, pivot, elbow. The motors the main component which is used for precision to control computer.

At the bottom of the system, there is strong base is used for arm which stationary but also occasionally movable. Above the base is the shoulder, which raises and lowers the arm. The elbow provides movement and flexibility, while a pivot allows the arm to rotate. Further along the arm, the wrist enables the gripper or another end-effector to flex and rotate.

The movements of these joints are controlled by three motors, all of which receive precise instructions from a computer. At the end of the arm, the gripper is equipped with built-in sensors that control the amount of force applied when holding an object. In addition to the standard gripper, several alternative end-effectors can be attached, depending on the task. These include tools designed for spraying paint, drilling holes and welding metal.

In summary, the mechanical arm imitates the main movements of a human arm through a combination of computer-controlled motors, flexible joints and interchangeable tools.
