Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a generally positive position and give relevant reasons, especially reducing pollution and protecting historical places. The response also attempts to explain how visitors’ behaviour can affect destinations. However, the discussion only partially addresses whether the expansion of eco-tourism is positive: the claim that tourists “represent their country” is not clearly connected to environmental benefits, and the example about countries changing their reputation is vague and difficult to verify. Several points are asserted rather than explained, such as “every historical place of every country is safe.” To strengthen the response, state your extent clearly in the introduction and develop two specific reasons with a concrete example showing how responsible tourism benefits the environment or local communities.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “Moreover” and “in conclusion” help identify the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the first body paragraph moves from rubbish disposal to an unclear example about hospitality, while the second shifts from representing a country to school habits and historical-site protection without explaining the links. Some references, including “the most highlighting” and “the impact of other country,” are unclear, so the reader has to infer the intended meaning. Build each paragraph around one main point, then explain it and give a directly relevant example. Use linking expressions to show relationships, not simply to announce another point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “eco-tourism,” “mitigating pollution,” “historical places” and “positive potential benefits.” This gives the response some relevant language, but the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make meaning less clear. Examples include “friendly-tourist,” “the most highlighting one,” “excellent behaviour toward tourist” and “the impact of other country.” Spelling errors such as “racent,” “polluction” and “profend” are also noticeable. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For instance, use “responsible tourists,” “a key benefit,” and “reduce pollution”; these choices would express your ideas more precisely and make the argument easier to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and some attempts at more complex structures, such as the opening sentence beginning “Although” and the clause “as visitors are not making their places dirty.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to interpret. For example, “Every eco-turist represent” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “It also bring some advantages” has the same issue. Other examples include “Eco-tourists always prefer to through rubbish” and “It is a basic habbit that should be tought in schools,” where sentence construction or verb forms are faulty. Practise building accurate sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and check agreement, articles, and punctuation before submitting.
