Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you consider the growth of eco-tourism a positive trend, and the conclusion restates this view. You give relevant reasons, including employment for local residents, economic benefits, and protection of natural areas, so the response addresses the main question. The employment point is supported with examples such as hotels, restaurants, and shops. However, some ideas are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, the link between eco-tourism and preventing deforestation is not illustrated, and the point about raising environmental awareness remains general. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation or a specific example, and make the connection between responsible tourism and environmental protection more precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Each body paragraph focuses on related benefits, and signposts such as “To elaborate,” “Moreover,” and “To conclude” help readers follow the argument. This gives the essay a coherent arrangement. However, some linking is mechanical, with several sentences beginning “As a result,” “Therefore,” or “Furthermore.” The second body paragraph also repeats the idea that eco-tourism creates jobs and businesses, rather than progressing to a distinct point. Some references are unclear, particularly “it will directly help to the government.” Use a wider range of natural links and make each paragraph develop a separate, clearly connected reason.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “eco-tourism,” “local areas,” “deforestation,” “economy,” and “environment,” which allows you to communicate the main ideas. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: examples include “environmet,” “oppurtunities,” “benificial,” and “eco-torism.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “travel in natural places,” “tourists people,” and “the real values of the clean environment.” The vocabulary range is sufficient to discuss the topic, but control of spelling, word forms, and collocations is limited. Learn common topic phrases such as “visit natural areas” and “raise awareness of environmental protection,” and proofread carefully for repeated spelling patterns.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional and cause-and-effect structures: “if more and more individuals travel… then it will enhance businesses” and “As a result, people can avoid…”. The main argument is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. For example, “eco-tourism can crate a job opportunities” has problems with the modal construction and article/plural agreement, while “eco tourism can also very beneficial” is missing a verb. Other examples include “eco-torism play” and “it also reduce,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. Work on complete clause structure, agreement, and articles, then check each sentence for a required verb. More accurate control of these patterns would make your varied sentence attempts easier to follow.
