Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, environment become major concern, and people prefer to be 'eco-tourists' and travel responsibly and environmentally-friendly ways. Therefore, the eco-tourism is expending. I believe this is fruitful notion. The narrative ahead shall articulate reasons behind my belief before arriving to a rational conclusion.

The first and foremost reason of my belief is that it can be good tone both environment and tourists. Because tourism industries are rapidly growing as desposible income of citizens incerewed. So, many people preter explore visiting new places. But now people became more aware about environment and know the importance. They behave responsible, when it comes to nature. They do not use harmfull items, mange menuye their litten and do not harm environment by such activities. They adopt eco-friendly products such as buys, which made from recycle materials or stay in small, affordable houses, where they know about places from locals. To addition, people buy products from native shopes and contibute their share in economay. Eco-tourism can be force for both culture preservation and economic growth. For intance, In many countries eco-tourism spore sponsen by government bodies to reduction in environmental degradation, and eco-tourism can result in the employment opportunities for indigenous people. As el result, eco-tourism industries are growing.

On the other hand, problem lies in the strain placed on natural resources. Remote communities often have limited infrastructure and a large number of visitors can lead to overuse of water waste and environmental degradation. As a result, local people suffer more rather than earnings. Therefore, eco-tourism can harm local citizens.

To conclude, even though eco-tourism demolish natural resources and cause overuse of facilities. However, I believe that eco-tourism is fruitful as it save environment from harmful items and create employment opportunities for remote communities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the positive and negative aspects of eco-tourism. You clearly state your position that it is a 'fruitful notion'. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While you provide some relevant points regarding economic growth and cultural preservation, the explanation of these points is occasionally hindered by unclear phrasing, such as 'mange menuye their litten'. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully explained with clear, logical steps. The conclusion attempts to balance the argument, but the internal contradiction in the final paragraph—stating it 'demolish natural resources' while arguing it is 'fruitful'—needs more nuanced synthesis to be fully persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'Therefore', 'To addition', and 'On the other hand' to link ideas. However, some of these transitions are used incorrectly or awkwardly, such as 'To addition' (should be 'In addition') and 'The narrative ahead shall articulate'. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, making the flow feel mechanical rather than natural. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more accurately and ensure that the progression between sentences within paragraphs is smoother.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent errors in word choice and spelling that occasionally impede understanding. For example, 'desposible' (disposable), 'incerewed' (increased), 'preter' (prefer), and 'spore sponsen' (supported) are distracting. You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'environmental degradation' and 'indigenous people', which is positive. However, the high frequency of spelling mistakes and non-standard word formations limits your score. To improve, focus on mastering the spelling of common academic terms and ensure you are using words in their correct context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('environment become'), missing articles ('in economay'), and awkward phrasing ('can be good tone both environment'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors require the reader to work harder to interpret your intended message. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that subjects and verbs agree and that articles are used correctly before nouns.
