Student answer (Band 4.5)
The evironment is growing rapidly and more and more people are choosing to be eco-tourists because it depends really upons person's prespective.
To begin with , the people who travels have a eco-friendly mind and will be stressless with no tensions and anixety so travelling is environmentally friendly in my thinking. this eco toursits is nothing but an perseverance of a human being to have a vacation on travelling with family or friends.
Moving forward, the environment is growing because if we travell we get new ideas and hopes and it will overcome in future , so yes travelling is a eco freindly in many ways. In my prespective travelling is responsible because we have to look after our family before travelling and we should pack some needy things, for instance travelling makes a man or women happy ,joyful, wonderful espically in monsoon days.We can go by mini bus, car, and a tourism bus i rely on car travell because if we go by car we can be satiisfied and it will be enjoying. Eco tourism is nothing but a travel to local areas , villages, resorts and parks.
I conclude that travelling plays a significant role now a days as there are many places to explore and i love travelling whenever the word comes lets travell I will be on cloud nine and i wish every person out there must travell and makes his or her journey a memorable one and yes i vivdly travell but future i will make sure to have a friendly way of travelling with my family and friends.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to address the prompt effectively. The task asks for an evaluation of the extent to which the growth of eco-tourism is a positive trend. Instead of discussing environmental impacts, the student provides irrelevant personal anecdotes about travelling with family and packing 'needy things'. The ideas are largely off-topic and do not engage with the concept of 'eco-tourism' or its environmental implications. The position is unclear, and the arguments are not developed in a way that addresses the prompt's requirements. Consequently, the response does not meet the criteria for a higher band score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5
The essay lacks logical progression. While there are paragraph breaks, the ideas within them are disjointed and do not flow logically. Cohesive devices are either missing or used incorrectly, such as 'Moving forward' and 'To begin with', which do not introduce relevant supporting points. The referencing is often unclear, and the connection between sentences is weak, making the text difficult to follow. The lack of a clear central argument makes the overall structure ineffective.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary is very basic and often misused. There are numerous spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'evironment', 'prespective', 'travell', 'anixety', and 'espically'. The student relies on simple, repetitive language and fails to use vocabulary related to the topic of environmentalism or tourism effectively. Phrases like 'perseverance of a human being' and 'needy things' are used incorrectly, indicating a limited range that struggles to convey precise meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The grammar is characterized by frequent errors that often impede communication. There are significant issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'the people who travels'), sentence structure, and punctuation. Many sentences are run-on or fragmented, such as 'this eco toursits is nothing but an perseverance of a human being to have a vacation on travelling with family or friends.' The control of complex structures is poor, and the high frequency of errors makes the text difficult to read.
