Student answer (Band 5.0)

Eco-Tourists are more likely increase because the tourists of the current era are more likely prefer to plan according to the enviroment. I belives its a positive trend the reason behind it most of the countries are famous due to its environment. Lets take an example a Maldives, Bali, Thailand are famous in summers so the tourists try to prefer to at its peak season to enjoy its weather and its festivals usually it happned in a summer. In this way we come to know that if the tourists prefer environmnet they not only choose a weather but also plan to experience the hidden that they can only receive at the planned time. I also went in dubai by not considering the environment in december and at that moment the I didn't enjoyed my trip. But back in April I went by condering the eco-tourists I enjoyed alot. I joined the seminars, exhibitions and specially the local events. They only happned by the starting of the summers. It had really fun. By this factor travel industries can take a alot of benefits to advertise those place which are famous because of its environment. If the winter is coming they can advertise a promotional campaign for those places which are famous for its snowfalling specially for the christmas eve. They can also add a discount so the toutists can attract more towards them. The tourists can also get a benefit and they can experience a trip more good by getting all the facilitations.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a positive view on eco-tourism, but the development of ideas is limited and often unclear. While you attempt to explain why this is a positive trend, the arguments are largely anecdotal and lack a broader perspective on the environmental or economic implications. The connection between 'eco-tourism' and your personal travel experiences in Dubai is tenuous, as the examples provided do not clearly illustrate how these trips were 'environmentally-friendly' or 'responsible'. To improve, ensure you focus on the global impact of eco-tourism rather than personal anecdotes, and provide more structured, logical support for your position.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks clear paragraphing, which makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. There is a lack of cohesive devices to link sentences and ideas together, resulting in a disjointed flow. For example, the transition between discussing Maldives/Bali and your personal experience in Dubai is abrupt. While there is an attempt to organize the text, the lack of clear topic sentences and logical transitions between paragraphs hinders the overall coherence. Using linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in contrast' would help create a more professional and readable structure.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, which limits the ability to convey complex ideas. There are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'the tourists of the current era are more likely prefer' and 'the I didn't enjoyed my trip'. Some terms are used incorrectly, such as 'facilitations' instead of 'facilities' or 'amenities'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary, including collocations and topic-specific terminology related to tourism and the environment, while paying closer attention to word forms and usage.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Eco-Tourists are more likely increase', 'I belives'), tense usage (e.g., 'It had really fun'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, making them difficult to parse. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are often inaccurate. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb tenses, and proofreading for common errors like missing articles or incorrect prepositions.
