Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, eco -tourism has become a widely popular topic as it promotes the nature and its healing power . I strongly agree to this notion and believe that it is fairly a positive trend.
As the generation is changing rapidly, the minds of youth are changing the tradition view and is showing interest in discovering the nature and they are also eager to learn about the culture of different countries,There is also a healing power in nature and the youngsters, adults and the elders who are depressed by their daily grind of life and certain problem love to escape from the circle of stress and wants to have a sense of relief. However, the people love to travel in friendly environment without any stress and wrongdoings, they want to have a peaceful and lovely trip in order to relax.
According to my experience, i have seen a combination of people who love to travel and as well as those who don't want to.I have been to many places in my school and college life as creational tours and also with the family, i also had the chance to travel by bus and that experience has enlarged my vision. I have seen that some people of different communities are forced to travel to the nature while others are keen to visit the mountains, lakes ,rivers, beaches and alot more.
In my opinion,it is a golden trend but to an extent there are also some cons of irt if we look into the matter deeply.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by stating a clear position that eco-tourism is a positive trend and attempts to give reasons such as nature's healing power and changing youth interests. However, the ideas remain largely under-developed and superficial. For instance, the discussion on stress relief and changing traditions lacks specific examples or thorough elaboration. The conclusion abruptly introduces 'cons of it' without providing any concrete counter-arguments or fully exploring the alternative perspective promised. This places the response firmly within Band 5, as the task is only partially addressed and the supporting ideas are limited and lack extension.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The text demonstrates some overall organisation, but the progression of ideas is frequently disrupted. Paragraphing is poorly handled; the body of the essay is compressed into dense, overly long paragraphs that lump multiple disparate concepts together, such as youth trends and stress relief sitting awkwardly in the same block of text. Cohesive devices are used mechanically or inappropriately, seen in expressions like 'However, the people love...' where the transition word does not logically signal a contrast. Furthermore, referencing is sometimes unclear, and the abrupt ending lacks a cohesive concluding structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for basic communication, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. The student attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'daily grind of life' and 'creational tours' (likely meaning recreational), but these are accompanied by lexical inaccuracies and awkward collocations. Word formation and spelling errors are also present, such as spacing issues around punctuation marks like 'eco -tourism' and 'irt'. The range of vocabulary remains limited and repetitive, reflecting a Band 5 level where noticeable errors in word choice occasionally impede smoothness.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar and punctuation is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues in 'the tradition view and is showing interest' and pronoun mismatch in 'the people love... they want... wants to have'. Punctuation and spacing errors are widespread throughout the text, including missing spaces after commas and periods. Complex structures are often faulty and cause some difficulty for the reader, which aligns closely with the Band 5 descriptors.
