Student answer (Band 5.0)
Due to the concern for environmental protection and sustainability, more and more people are choosing to travel as eco friendly tourists, hence the eco tourism industries have been booming. I belive that such activities baerly impact the process of protecting the ecology. While there are some concern and actions are being taken, eco toursim has a minimal impact on environment conservation.
looking at the current trend ls in the tourism sector of the world people are boycotting the travel for adventure and cities. Choosing to travel to rural areas in the lap of mother nature. Conserving and protecting the environment by using renewable forms of energy and products. Travellers who are concerned for future of the country avoid non-renewable products chossing to consume products which can be recycled. While also using clean source of energy for transportation, examples :electric bike, electric scooter, electric cars ,busses and so on.
while on the other hand ,we see billions of travellers from all across the world chossing to travel to urbanized area thus further more contributing to large number of carbin emmissions .Ehile also being irresponsible for the mess that they make , throwing trash and garbages with no sense of where to throw them . Such actions leed to more pollution and degredation in the nature.further-more,travellers tend to enjoy themselfs alot while visiting various destinations ,so they use transport such as buses , plains ,cars etc which emmits more carbon into the atmosphere.
In conclusion, there are a vast majority of travelers who travel for the fun and excitment of new places not concerned about the safety and protection of the things around them . While some individual prefer to travel being eco-friendly not impacting that much to the protection of the environment, due the large number of the population choosing to travel outside the eco-friendly tourism .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt only partially, expressing a position on whether eco-tourism is a positive trend, but the ideas remain limited and under-developed. While the writer attempts to present arguments, the discussion tends to wander and lacks sufficient support. For instance, the opening states a belief that eco-tourism has a minimal impact on conservation, but this point is not adequately expanded with clear examples or a sustained line of reasoning. The conclusion attempts to summarize the arguments regarding traditional versus eco-friendly tourism, but the overall development is restricted and lacks the depth required to fully explore all parts of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some overall organization with recognizable paragraph breaks, but there is no clear overall progression throughout the piece. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or repetitive, leading to a choppy flow of ideas. For example, phrases such as 'while on the other hand' and 'In conclusion' are used to structure the text, but the transitions between sentences within paragraphs can be abrupt and mechanical. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the pronoun use in the third paragraph, which makes it difficult for the reader to follow the logical development of the contrasting tourism styles.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to convey basic ideas about tourism and the environment. There are noticeable lexical errors and spelling mistakes throughout the text, such as 'baerly', 'chossing', 'carbin emmissions', 'leed', 'degredation', and 'themselfs', which cause some difficulty for the reader. The range of vocabulary is restricted, relying heavily on basic terms with frequent inaccuracies in word choice and spelling that prevent the response from achieving a higher level of precision and stylistic awareness.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response employs a very limited range of sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in grammar, punctuation, and articles, which can cause strain for the reader. Examples include incorrect subject-verb agreement and word forms, such as 'eco tourism industries have been booming' and 'examples :electric bike', alongside fragmented or poorly punctuated sentences like 'While there are some concern and actions are being taken, eco toursim has a minimal impact'. These frequent errors reflect a lack of control over more advanced grammatical patterns.
