Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this cut-throat contemporary era ,eco-turists play an important role in humans life.Considering this , people in this fast-paced life prefer to travel eco-friendly.

Iam accord with this statement to a large extent, however, I will elaborate my views in the forthcoming paragraph.

To commence with there are myraid reasons why environmentally-friendly tourism should be grow. First and foremost, it made people to live close the nature which helps in so many ways such as there is no harm to environment for building the infrastructure for tourism as it include eco-friendly tourists. Furthermore, eco-tourism industry is expanding which include experinces of different cultures. Many areas around the world rely on tourism for income. For instance, in the study of West London University they found 90% of income formed through eco-friendly activities.

Moreover, it creates employment in other sectors like entertainment, transport and accommodation. Standard of living improves as people explore the nature which attracts investments from companies that operate multi-nationally.

On the other hand, there is adverse effect on the natural environment. One of the worth considering point is that , building of hotels destroys beautiful beaches which create pollution and wastes it also put preasure on the local resources . Additionally, local people affected by the rise in cost of living.

Agglutinating the aforementioned arguments in conscience I could be projected that there are so many benifits of eco-tourist which helps in protect flura and funa without exploit of nature. However, companies interpration create problen off living cost.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear overall view that eco-tourism is positive “to a large extent” and address both benefits and drawbacks. Relevant points include employment, income for local areas, and pressure on beaches and local resources. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the claim about West London University and “90% of income” is not explained or connected clearly to the argument, while the environmental and cost-of-living concerns receive little detail. Your conclusion also becomes difficult to interpret, so the final position is less clear than the opening. The response is 248 words, below the required 250-word minimum. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation or a specific, credible example, and restate your judgement plainly at the end.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To commence with,” “Moreover,” and “On the other hand” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some connections between claims are unclear—for example, the link between exploring nature, attracting investment, and improving living standards. Several transitions feel formulaic, while the final sentence does not clearly synthesise the preceding points. Organise each body paragraph around one central idea, then explain and illustrate it before moving on. Use referencing and linking expressions to show relationships between ideas rather than relying mainly on set phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “eco-friendly,” “infrastructure,” “local resources,” and “cost of living,” and you use some less common expressions such as “multi-nationally.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are frequent enough to distract the reader: examples include “eco-turists,” “myraid,” “experinces,” “preasure,” and “benifits.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “eco-tourism should be grow” and “protect flura and funa.” Phrases like “cut-throat contemporary era” do not fit the topic naturally. Aim for accurate, conventional collocations and check spelling carefully; a smaller set of precise expressions will communicate your ideas more effectively than ambitious but unclear wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “which” and “as,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms and sentence construction occur in examples such as “tourism should be grow,” “it made people to live,” and “it also put preasure.” There are also problems with articles, agreement, and punctuation, as in “in humans life” and the comma spacing in “Considering this , people.” The final sentence is difficult to follow because its clauses are not clearly connected. These errors sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly formed supporting clause, then check verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries.
