Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your response takes a clear positive position, especially through the points about environmental awareness, wildlife protection and benefits to local communities. These are relevant reasons, and the examples of preventing poaching and creating work for guides, drivers and hotel or restaurant staff help explain your view. This meets the task well overall. However, some points are asserted rather than fully developed: for instance, you say tourism can protect habitats and help endangered animals, but do not explain how this happens beyond mentioning funding. The opening is also unclear about whether you are weighing positive and negative effects. State your extent directly and extend each main reason with a specific explanation or example to make the argument more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: it introduces the topic, presents several positive effects and ends with a summary. Paragraphs generally group related ideas, such as conservation and local employment. However, progression is somewhat mechanical, with repeated transitions such as “Moreover,” “As this industry is growing,” and “Furthermore,” rather than links that show how one point develops from another. Some connections are unclear, particularly the opening sentence and the shift from nature-based tourism to its effects on people. The final sentence repeats the main benefits but does not add a concluding judgement. Use a clearer introduction and conclusion, and organise the body around distinct reasons, with each paragraph moving from claim to explanation and example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “sustainable tourism,” “wildlife conservation,” “natural habitats,” “poaching,” and “local communities.” This gives the response an appropriate subject-specific range. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear: “growing its strength,” “people concerning to be eco-friendly tourist,” and “This let increases the income” are examples. There are also spelling errors such as “Futhermore,” “benefical,” and “resturants.” Aim for natural combinations and accurate word forms, and check spelling carefully. For example, “the industry is expanding” is clearer than “platforms are widely growing its strength,” while “people who choose eco-friendly travel” expresses your meaning more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “as” and “in the way,” and you use some sentence boundaries to separate supporting points. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction sometimes make ideas difficult to follow. For example, “people who loves and care” should use plural agreement, while “As it provide” needs a matching verb form. The sentence beginning “As this industry is growing widely” also contains a faulty construction, and “local people can earn money from tourist” has problems with number and article use. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses only when their grammatical relationship is clear.
