Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you strongly support the growth of eco-tourism, and the response gives relevant reasons, including reduced environmental harm, public awareness, employment, and government support. Examples such as visitors taking rubbish with them and travelling by biofuel help connect the discussion to the topic. However, some points are asserted rather than explained. For instance, the claim that eco-tourism creates “innovative atmosphere” is not clarified, and the benefits of new employment are only mentioned in the conclusion. Develop fewer ideas more fully by explaining how a specific practice protects a destination or benefits local communities. This would make the response more complete and persuasive across the task.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs introduced by “Firstly” and “Moreover,” and a concluding statement. The ideas generally progress from awareness and products to tourism practices and wider benefits, so the overall arrangement is coherent. However, links between some points are mechanical or unclear. The second body paragraph moves quickly from litter disposal to government funding, biofuel, education, and inspiration without showing how these ideas relate. Repeated use of “Also” contributes to a list-like effect, while “I will discuss more about this trend in upcoming paragraph” is an unnecessary signpost. Group related points and use clearer cause-and-effect links to strengthen progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “eco-tourists,” “sustainable materials,” “carbon emission,” and “environment-friendly,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts to use less common expressions, such as “bio-compostible materials,” though spelling and word choice are not always accurate. Several phrases are awkward or imprecise, including “save environment,” “businesses are become more popular,” and “normal people,” and spelling errors such as “environemt” and “employement” reduce accuracy. The intended meaning is usually recoverable, but more natural collocations and careful proofreading would make your vocabulary more effective and precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the response is usually understandable. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur across the essay. For example, “businesses are become more popular” needs a correct verb form, while “It also raise a new business ideas” has agreement and number problems. The opening sentence is difficult to follow because several grammatical relationships are unclear, and “I agree with this statement to save environment every time we travel” does not form a clear sentence. Practise building accurate basic clauses first, then combine them with subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement and verb forms during revision.
