Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, environmental issues are a big concern at global level. While modern people decided to be 'eco-tourists', who travel with responsibilities through the environmental-friendly ways. The aforementioned change is a desirable change because it can reduce climate change issues and help to preserve the environment for future generations.
To begin with why the matter in concern is welcomed, we can consider it as a first step towards solving climate change issues. Eco-tourist will help with cleaning environment by avoiding throwing the garbage in public places. Moreover, if people travel through the electronic vehicles rather than the fuel based vehicles, they would highly contribute to reduce carbon emission and it will result in clean and fresh air. To give an example, Indian Environmental Association reported in 2025, the worst quality of air in Delhi was result of the high level of carbon emission.
Additionally, another benefit is that we can save the natural world for our next generations. To explain it, by being eco-tourist people would become more responsible towards nature and start preventing it by using electrical vehicle, littering in dustbins, saving electricty and water, using recyclable items. To quote an instance, a survey by World Health Organisation, found in 2019 that surat, city in gujarat has applied environment preserving rules and citizens also supported and ranked first as the cleanest city of gujarat.
To conclude, this essay has shown how being eco-friendly tourists or people is a favourable decision due to the cimate related benefits and it will allow us to prevent ecosystem for our future generations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you consider the growth of eco-tourism positive, and the introduction and conclusion reinforce this view. You address the question with two relevant reasons—reducing emissions and protecting nature for future generations—and include examples involving Delhi and Surat. This meets the task well, but the support is uneven: the first example links Delhi’s air quality to emissions without showing how eco-tourism would substantially change that situation, while the Surat example focuses on city cleanliness rather than tourism. Develop each link more explicitly, and explain the scale or practical impact of the benefits. The response already has a clear stance and relevant support; more precise, fully explained examples would make the argument more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate benefits, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “To begin with,” “Additionally,” and “To conclude” makes the progression easy to follow, and each paragraph has a recognisable central idea. Some connections, however, feel mechanical or unclear. For example, “To begin with why the matter in concern is welcomed” is an awkward transition, and the long list in the second body paragraph combines several actions without showing how they support the main point. The examples also need clearer links to the claims they are meant to illustrate. Use more natural transitions and develop one or two supporting points in sequence rather than relying on lists.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “eco-tourists,” “carbon emission,” “natural world,” and “future generations,” so the reader can understand the main ideas. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “preserve the environment.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive: “travel with responsibilities,” “environmental-friendly ways,” and “preventing it” do not express the intended meanings naturally. “Climate change issues” and “environment” recur without much variation, while spelling errors such as “electricty” and “cimate” reduce accuracy. Build a more reliable range of environmental collocations and check word forms and spelling; this would make the argument clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional construction (“if people travel… they would…”) and a reason clause (“because it can reduce…”). The overall meaning is generally recoverable, but some grammatical errors make sentences awkward or unclear. For instance, “While modern people decided to be…” is an incomplete subordinate clause, and “Eco-tourist will help” has a singular subject where the general meaning calls for a plural or a different construction. In “reported in 2025, the worst quality of air… was result,” the reporting clause and article use are faulty. Practise complete clause structures, subject–verb agreement, and articles, then proofread sentence boundaries and punctuation. More consistently accurate complex sentences would strengthen control.
