Student answer (Band 6.0)

The concern for the environment is increasing rapidly due to which people are used to be an eco-tourist which means travelling with responsible enviromentally-friendly techniques. As a result it lead to eco-tourism industry spread drastically.

In now days the pollution due to human activities impact increasing at worse level which affect the eco badly. So, for the safe precautionary measures human should play a truthful role for making the enviorment better. In my prespective , this is highly positive development and this essay will discuss its benefit.

one of the main advantages of eco-tourism is that it helps to preserve fragile ecosysytems . unlike mass tourism which oftens leads to pollution and habitat destruction eco-tourist are careful to minimize their carbon footprint. As a result natural resources protected and biodiversity is preserved for future generations.

Eco-tourism is good for enviorment. As they protect nature, not destroy .they use public transport stay in eco-lodges . They create money to protect forest or national parks. for example in pakistan eco-tourism in hunza valley tourists pay to keep mountains clean, locals learnnot to throw waste .

Local communities get jobs guides. Eco-tourists want organic , local, healthy food which help farmers.for instance when tourists visit villages in nothern pakistan they prefer locally grown organic food , which supports farmers and promotes sustainable agriculture.

To conclude although eco-tourism may cause some minor overcrowding in fragile areas if not managed properly , its advantages for enviormental protection and local ecnomies far outweigh the drawbacks therefore, this trend should be encourged.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear: you consider eco-tourism “highly positive,” and the conclusion reinforces this view while acknowledging possible overcrowding. You address several relevant benefits, including ecosystem protection, employment for local guides, and support for farmers, with examples from Hunza and northern Pakistan. This gives the response a solid, relevant foundation. Some points, however, are asserted rather than fully explained: for instance, the claim that tourists help protect forests or national parks would be stronger with a clearer account of how their spending achieves this. The discussion of overcrowding is also brief. Developing these points and explaining the examples’ impact more fully would make the response more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has an overall structure that is easy to recognise: an introduction, paragraphs on environmental and community benefits, and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from conservation to local economic gains, and examples help connect claims to the topic. However, some links between sentences are abrupt, particularly in “Eco-tourism is good for environment. As they protect nature, not destroy.” The opening paragraph also repeats the task’s premise before the position is fully established. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports. More consistent paragraphing and accurate referencing would also help the reader follow the argument without having to infer relationships between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “fragile ecosystems,” “carbon footprint,” “biodiversity,” “eco-lodges,” and “sustainable agriculture.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the subject specifically rather than relying only on general language. However, the range is uneven, and several inaccurate or awkward expressions reduce precision, such as “safe precautionary measures,” “impact increasing at worse level,” and “create money to protect forest.” Spelling errors, including “enviorment,” “prespective,” and “encourged,” are also noticeable. Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; this will make your ideas clearer and allow your stronger topic vocabulary to have more effect.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “which means travelling…” and a concession in the conclusion beginning “although eco-tourism may cause…”. These attempts show some range, but control is inconsistent. Errors include “it lead” instead of a correctly formed verb, “people are used to be” where the intended meaning requires a different construction, and “which help farmers,” where the verb does not agree with its subject. Several sentence fragments, such as “As they protect nature, not destroy,” also interrupt the flow. Work on complete sentence structure, subject–verb agreement, and verb forms, then proofread punctuation and spacing. More accurate control of these patterns would make the argument easier to read.
