Student answer (Band 6.0)

Nowadays, concern for the environment is increasing rapidly, and many people are choosing eco friendly way to travel.

As a result the eco-tourism becoming more popular. The also travel in responsible way which is very good thing for our nature. In my opinion, this is very highly positive trend because it protects nature and benefits local communities.

Firstly, eco-tourism helps to protect nature, Tradional tourism cause the nature such as pollution, deforestation and damage to wildlife. However, eco-tourists are try to reduce environmental impact by avoiding plastics, using public trasnports and protect local habitats. For example, people visiting national parks so they follow their rules and respect the authority which increase civic sense and make nature more beautiful.

Eco-tourism not also protect our nature but also enhance our economy. Because when toursit visit different culture they rest in their local guest-house and uses their handmade craft which inrease their employemnt rate and they also eat in local restaurants. Consequently, small businesses can earn more money. For instance, In India people visting hill stations and mountains can suppoort local guides. This improves the living standards of local communities.

Furthermore, eco-tourism increases people's awareness of environmental problems, When travellers experience forests, mountains and wildlife closely. They may understand the importance of protectig these natural resources and they can encourage the other people which they learn while they were travelling across the city natural places.

In conclusion, Eco-tourism provides lots of benefits as you see above the paragraph which is very positive thing for our nature, because they protect nature and respect the animals and resources which they used. It is also great thing for local communities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the introduction: you consider eco-tourism a highly positive trend, and the conclusion restates this view. You address several relevant reasons, including protecting wildlife and habitats, supporting local businesses, and raising environmental awareness. The examples about national parks and local guides in India help make the points relevant. However, some ideas are more fully explained than others. The economic benefit is supported with several details, while the awareness paragraph ends with a less clear explanation of how travellers encourage others. To strengthen the response, develop each reason with a precise cause-and-effect explanation and make the examples more specific. This would give the argument more consistent development while retaining its clear position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, three body paragraphs presenting separate benefits, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow, and the paragraphs generally stay focused on their main points. Some linking is mechanical, however, and a few connections are unclear. For example, “Eco-tourism not also protect our nature but also enhance our economy. Because…” breaks the relationship between the claim and its explanation, while the final sentence of the awareness paragraph is difficult to follow. Use a wider range of natural links and ensure each pronoun and connecting phrase clearly refers to an idea already stated. This would make the cohesion more flexible and precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “environmental impact,” “local habitats,” “wildlife,” and “living standards,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “local guest-house” and “handmade craft.” However, the range and control are uneven: repeated use of “nature” and “good thing” limits precision, and several spelling or word-choice errors are noticeable, including “Tradional,” “trasnports,” “toursit,” and “employemnt.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “increase civic sense” and “across the city natural places.” Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would make the argument clearer and more fluent.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast with “However” and a relative clause beginning “which.” The main ideas are usually understandable, but grammatical control is inconsistent, and attempts at longer structures often contain errors. Examples include “the eco-tourism becoming more popular,” “eco-tourists are try,” and “Eco-tourism not also protect,” where verb forms or auxiliary structures are missing or incorrect. There are also problems with sentence boundaries and punctuation, such as joining a dependent “Because” clause to the preceding point as a separate sentence. Practise accurate subject–verb patterns, articles, and complete clause structures before adding complexity. Aim to make more sentences error-free while varying sentence forms.
