Student answer (Band 5.5)

Enviromental changes are very crucial issue with growing rate at concern rate. Most of the tourist are now selecting Eco-Friendly enviroment for tourism which in response is expanding at marvelous rate.I believe that this trend is positive in multiple ways.

Firstly, economic friendly tourism is helping people to be more friendly with one another and provide soothing effect. This also help people to realise the importance of enviroment and help them to maintain clean surroundings.

Furthermore, this concept appreciate the local to maintain peaceful surroundings and realize them about the cleaniness of their surroundings and help them by solving their monetry issues.

Nevertheless,Eco friendly enviroment is not only good for human being but also good for preservation of natural resources and other species living in locality. It also help wildlife to breed freely without causing any trouble to their habitat.

This not only reduses deforestration and generate handsom amout of money for local to facilitate their families and locality. This not only help them enhancing their own enviroment but also enhace tourism beyond border of there country.

In my opinion this is positive aspect to promote eco-tourism but with certain limitation cause by government and authorities that are respnsible for tourism.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear overall view that eco-tourism is positive, and you identify relevant benefits: raising environmental awareness, supporting local incomes, and protecting wildlife and natural resources. These points address the question, but they are mostly asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example. For instance, the claim that tourism helps wildlife “to breed freely” would be stronger if you explained how responsible tourism protects habitats. Your final qualification about “certain limitation” imposed by authorities is relevant, but it is not developed, so the extent of your support for the trend remains somewhat general. The response is also below the required 250 words, which limits how fully you can develop your reasons. Add a concrete example and explain both the benefits and the need for safeguards.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

Your response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, several supporting points, a qualification, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Furthermore,” “Nevertheless,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. However, the progression between ideas is not always clear, and several sentences repeat similar claims about clean surroundings and environmental protection. The two sentences beginning “This not only…” are especially repetitive, while “Nevertheless” introduces another positive point rather than a contrast. Some references, such as “This concept” and “This,” do not clearly identify which idea they refer to. Group related points into focused paragraphs, use linking expressions to show the actual relationship between ideas, and avoid repeating the same benefit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “eco-tourism,” “natural resources,” “wildlife,” and “deforestation,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning unclear. For example, “economic friendly tourism” does not express the intended idea of environmentally responsible travel, and “appreciate the local” is unclear. There are also frequent spelling errors, including “enviromental,” “cleaniness,” “monetry,” and “reduses.” These errors reduce precision and can distract the reader. Build a small set of accurate topic phrases and check spelling carefully; choose words that express the specific relationship you mean rather than relying on broad terms such as “help” and “good.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences and use basic structures to express reasons and results, but sentence patterns are limited and errors occur frequently. Subject–verb agreement is inconsistent: “Most of the tourist are” and “This also help” should use matching plural or singular forms. Articles and plurals are also often missing or incorrect, as in “very crucial issue” and “for local.” The opening sentence has unclear grammatical relationships, and the sentence beginning “This not only reduses…” does not form a clear parallel construction with the following clause. Punctuation and spacing around commas are inconsistent, which makes some sentences harder to read. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “which,” or “although,” checking agreement and articles in each sentence.
