Concern about the environment is growing rapidly and majority of people are choosing to go on places such as eco-frinedly travelling in responilble, environmentally- frinedly ways. As a result, the eco- tourism industry is expanding. This essay will discuss both views.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
The response begins to address the topic by linking eco-friendly travel with avoiding pollution and crowded places, and it gives a brief example involving a holiday. However, it does not answer the key question about the extent to which the industry’s expansion is positive: “This essay will discuss both views” promises a discussion, but no clear position is stated or developed. The response also stops after “Furthermore,” leaving the argument incomplete and without a counterpoint or conclusion. The required minimum of 250 words is not met; the response contains 110 words, 140 short, and 10 words copied from the prompt were excluded. To improve, state your view directly and develop it with specific benefits, possible drawbacks, and relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening paragraph is followed by a paragraph beginning “First and foremost,” and “Furthermore” signals an intended next point. These markers show awareness of sequencing. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the opening says both views will be discussed, while the body only gives one loosely developed reason and then ends mid-transition. Several sentences repeat the idea of crowded or polluted places without adding a distinct supporting point. The example is also not clearly connected to a specific conclusion. Use separate paragraphs for each main reason, explain how each supports your position, and complete the promised discussion with a conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The response uses some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “environmentally-friendly,” “polluted,” “crowded,” and “eco-tourism,” so the general subject is understandable. However, the range is narrow and several expressions are inaccurate or awkward, such as “go on places,” “eco-frinedly travelling,” and “feel suffocation.” Spelling errors, including “responilble,” “frinedly,” “somone,” and “vication,” also reduce clarity and control. Aim for accurate collocations and a wider set of terms for environmental travel and its effects, such as “visit less-developed destinations” or “reduce tourism’s environmental impact.” Proofreading for spelling and choosing natural phrases will make your ideas easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts both simple sentences and longer structures, for example, “People do not like crowded or polluted places because it may cause many problem.” This shows an effort to connect ideas with a subordinate clause, but agreement and number errors make the sentence inaccurate: “places” does not match “it,” and “many problem” needs a plural noun. Other examples include “if somone went on vication and go on crowded place,” where the conditional structure, verb forms, and article use are not controlled. Sentence patterns are mostly simple, with limited accurate variety. Practise building clear sentences with consistent subjects and verbs, correct singular/plural forms, and articles; then check each sentence for a complete and logical structure.
