Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, people are getting concisous about the raising problems in our eco-system. For this purpose alot of people are prefering to become eco-tourists, and travel in a very environment friendly ways which consequently expands the eco-tourism industry. I believe that this is a positive initiative from the people because it will bring awareness to those who are unaware of this upcoming issue. And it will make our envionment more clear.
With pasage of time our environment is getting on risk of different kind of pollutions like soil pollution, air pollution and water pollution. This makes authorities and people more concern about this rising problem. Due to which alot of people are taking their part in cleaning the environment by participating in awareness drives like eco-tourisim. The main reason for this is to travel different places in a responsible way by using less auto-mobile services and by plantation of plants in diferent tourist spots to bring the beauty of such places back. For instance, different groups from our university are going to hill stations in which they arrange cleanliness drive in those areas by collecting wastes from different tourist spots.
The expanding of eco-tourism industry is a positive trend because it provides job oppurtunities to the youth. It will bring more platforms to the young generation to work in it. Apart from this it will grow the tourisim sector of a country as well. Secondly, it will bring awarenes to those people who are not aware of this alarming situation. For example, Students from different institutes are conducting awareness drives in different backward areas to educate people about the environmemtal problems and they are also doing cleanliness drives with those people. Thirdly, these kind of activities are bringing betterment to our eco-system and making our surrounding clean from different polluted factors.
In conclusion, the raising of concern regarding eco-system and expanding of eco-tourisim industry is a positive trend because it will bring betterment to our environment as well as it will provide other oppurtunities to the youth in form of jobs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you consider the growth of eco-tourism positive, and the conclusion restates this view. You address relevant benefits, including environmental awareness, cleaner tourist sites and employment for young people. The university cleanliness-drive example also helps make one point more concrete. This meets the task well, but the two sides of your reasoning are not equally developed: job creation is asserted rather than explained, and the environmental benefits are sometimes described broadly, such as “making our surrounding clean.” To strengthen the response further, explain how responsible tourism reduces harm or supports local communities, and develop each example so its connection to eco-tourism is unmistakable. The position is clear, but some ideas need fuller support and precision.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs generally have identifiable purposes, and signposts such as “For instance,” “Secondly” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument. However, progression within the body paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, particularly where several benefits are listed in sequence. The link between eco-tourism and “awareness drives” or general cleanliness campaigns is not always made explicit, so some examples feel loosely connected to the main point. There is also repetition of ideas about awareness and environmental improvement. Use clearer topic sentences, group related benefits, and explain how each example demonstrates responsible tourism to make the connections more natural.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “eco-tourists,” “eco-tourism industry,” “soil pollution” and “awareness drives,” so the reader can understand the subject and your main ideas. However, the range and precision are limited by repeated general words such as “different,” “people” and “bring,” as well as awkward combinations such as “environment friendly ways,” “environment is getting on risk” and “bring the beauty ... back.” Spelling errors are also noticeable, for example “concisous,” “envionment” and “oppurtunities.” These do not usually prevent understanding, but they reduce accuracy and sometimes make the phrasing difficult to follow. Build a more precise set of environmental and tourism collocations, and proofread spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “places in which they arrange cleanliness drive” and a reason clause beginning “because.” Most of the argument remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “alot of people are prefering” has an incorrect verb construction, while “different kind of pollutions” needs plural agreement and a different noun form. Articles and sentence structure also need attention in phrases such as “by plantation of plants” and the fragment-like transition “Due to which alot of people...” The range is present, but control is uneven. Practise forming complete sentences after linking phrases, and check subject–verb agreement, articles and plural forms when editing.
