Student answer (Band 6.0)
Concern for the ecosystem is facing a fast incline and most of people believe to be eco-tourist,travelling in a very very friendly and responsibe way. Which had made the sustainable tourism industry to expand more. This essay completely agrees that it is a positive trend as it has many economical, environmental and social benefits. Although it has negative side but the positive outomes outweighs them.
It is a very positive trend that the indivisuals are trying to be a part of more sustainable travelling. This includes many important factors but the most imporant is preservation of natural habitat , the government would invest more in parks and maintaing these places, this would have a great impact on the wildlife as habitats would be preserved. Another major reason is that it would lead to many employment opportunities, the locals can be travel guide or provide local services to the visitors and earn money. Local people can also do small buisness which would remove poverty and would result in economic develpment of the country.
On the other hand it have some demerits as more and more population travelling can make the place overcrowded and would furthermore create problems such as polluting the environment which would be a danger for the wildlife, and safety concern for the local community.
In conclusion, the growing contribution of people in sustainable travelling is a good approach and it is the responsibility of the local government and people to maintain and encourage it, as it would result in social, cultural and economic development of a country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you “completely agree” that the growth of eco-tourism is positive, while acknowledging possible drawbacks. You address environmental, economic and social effects, and the examples of habitat protection and local employment are relevant. This covers the task well, but the support is uneven: the benefits are listed more than explained, and the concern about overcrowding and pollution is brief and not weighed in detail against the advantages. The conclusion restates your view but adds little synthesis. To strengthen the response, explain how responsible tourism can protect habitats in practice and give a specific example, then clarify why safeguards can limit the negative effects you identify.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on drawbacks and a conclusion. The progression from your position to supporting reasons is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “Another major reason,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. However, some links are mechanical, and the first body paragraph combines habitat preservation and employment without a clear transition between them. The opening sentence is also difficult to connect to the next sentence, while “Although it has negative side” introduces a contrast that is not fully developed. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each claim to its explanation or example; vary linking methods rather than relying mainly on explicit signposts.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “sustainable travelling,” “natural habitat,” “wildlife,” “employment opportunities” and “economic development.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range and control are uneven. Several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “Concern for the ecosystem is facing a fast incline,” “very very friendly,” and “the growing contribution of people in sustainable travelling.” Spelling errors, including “responsibe,” “imporant” and “develpment,” also make the writing look less controlled. Aim for precise collocations and avoid repeating broad terms such as “positive trend” and “important factors.” For example, describe concern as “increasing” and travel as “environmentally responsible.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a concession (“Although…”) and a conditional structure (“as habitats would be preserved”). However, control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas harder to follow. For example, “Which had made…” is a sentence fragment, “it have some demerits” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, and “the positive outomes outweighs them” also has an agreement error. There are problems with articles and plural forms in phrases such as “a part of more sustainable travelling” and “a danger for the wildlife.” Punctuation is also unreliable, particularly in the opening, where sentences run together. Practise complete sentence boundaries and check agreement, articles and clause structure when editing.
