Student answer (Band 5.5)
In order to maintain the environment, A number of individuals tend to travel in environmentally-friendly ways which as a result expands the eco-tourism industry. In my opinion, i believe this movement is considerably advantageous to the environmnet.
To begin with, Travelling in responsible environmentally-friendly ways is very benifcial to sustain the environment, when people choose to eco-tourists they help to keep the environment clean ,for instance if they choose to travel using bicyles which as a result can lower the concentration of toxic gases in the environment. Moreover people also choose electric cars rather than fuel consuming cars to travel which ultimatly help to reduces the emission of gases to environment and as a result the environment is maintained.
Furthermore, Most of tourists do not leave in the environment plastics bags and other garbage where they stay instead they throw it into the nearest dust-bins which is very necessary for the clean environment and this a very appreciated and responsible act of those tourists, therefore the eco tourists industry is expandind day by day. Moreover many tourists indusrtries, for intance in pakistan there are some noticeable tourists industries which conducts tours to the northern areas of pakistan, they are organising tours in a very responsible way and they are very professional in their, hence their customers are increasing day by day.
To sum up, Travelling in a responsible eco-freindly environment is positive initiative towards the maintainance of environmental and and which as a result aslo expands the eco-tourisms industries.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you consider the growth of eco-tourism beneficial, and you give relevant reasons, including reduced emissions from bicycles and electric cars and tourists disposing of rubbish responsibly. The Pakistan example also helps make the discussion more specific. However, the response only partly develops the task: it focuses almost entirely on environmental benefits and does not explain possible drawbacks or clarify the extent of your view beyond calling the trend advantageous. Some claims, such as tourists generally using bins, need fuller explanation or a concrete example. The response is also one word below the required minimum. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation and example, and state explicitly whether the trend is wholly positive or positive despite some limitations.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore” and “To sum up” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within the paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the discussion moves from litter disposal to the growth of tourism businesses without explaining the connection between them. “Moreover” is repeated, and several long sentences join multiple points with “which,” “and” or “therefore,” making relationships harder to follow. The conclusion repeats the general position but does not neatly summarise the two reasons. Give each paragraph one central purpose, use linking words only where the relationship is clear, and separate ideas into shorter, logically connected sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “eco-tourism industry,” “toxic gases,” “electric cars” and “emission,” so the reader can understand the subject and your main points. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors are noticeable, such as “benifcial,” “bicyles,” “dust-bins,” “tourists indusrtries” and “eco-freindly.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “maintain the environment” and “leave in the environment plastics bags.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases and check spelling carefully; for example, use “protect the environment,” “dispose of plastic bags” and “tourism operators” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “when,” “which” and “rather than.” This shows an effort to express cause and effect, but complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “when people choose to eco-tourists” lacks a grammatical construction, while “which ultimately help to reduces” has problems with agreement and verb form. Other examples include “this a very appreciated” and “the eco tourists industry is expandind,” where sentence structure and verb forms are not controlled. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, including lowercase “i” and spaces before commas. Practise accurate clause patterns and subject–verb agreement, and proofread each sentence for a complete subject and verb.
