Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You give a clear general opinion that eco-tourism is positive, especially when you say that a clean environment is important. You also try to support this view with points about litter, health, and countries such as India, Pakistan, Japan, and China. However, the response only minimally addresses the specific trend of responsible travel: much of it discusses rubbish and cleanliness rather than explaining how eco-tourism benefits the environment or local communities. The country comparisons are difficult to interpret and are not developed with clear examples. The response is also 67 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to explain and support your ideas. Focus on two relevant reasons and develop each with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is an attempt to organise the response, with an opening opinion, a contrast introduced by “on the other hand,” and a conclusion. These signals show an awareness that ideas need to be connected. However, the ideas are not arranged in a clear progression: the discussion moves from litter and illness to government responsibility and then to country comparisons without explaining the links. Several sentences run together, and the conclusion repeats the general point about cleanliness rather than summarising a developed argument. Use separate paragraphs for your position, each main reason, and the conclusion. Within each paragraph, present one point, explain it, and connect it explicitly to eco-tourism.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.0
Your vocabulary is basic and repetitive, with frequent spelling and word-choice problems that make parts of the response difficult to understand. For example, “enviroment” and “responsbilty” are misspelled, while “small are flying in air” does not clearly express the intended idea. You do make some relevant attempts, including “recycling,” “government,” and “clean environment,” but the range is not yet sufficient to explain the topic precisely. Build a small set of accurate topic phrases, such as “reduce waste,” “protect natural habitats,” and “support local communities,” and practise spelling them. Choose words that express a complete, clear meaning rather than repeating “neat and clean.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to express an opinion and give reasons, and there are a few simple clauses whose meaning can be followed. However, sentence structures are very limited, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries often distort meaning. For instance, “people will be improve” has an incorrect verb pattern, and “most people are throwing your recycling” has unclear agreement and pronoun use. The opening also joins several ideas without clear sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with basic connectors such as “because” and “as a result.” Check that each sentence has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
