Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You take a clear overall position that eco-tourism is positive and give relevant reasons, including protecting nature and animals, raising environmental awareness, and setting rules for visitors. These points show an understanding of the topic. However, the response addresses the question only partially because the reasons are mostly asserted rather than explained or supported with specific examples. For instance, you say that the industry “make very strict rule” and organises events, but do not explain how these measures produce lasting benefits or give a concrete example. The opening also repeats the question’s idea without establishing a precise argument. Develop two or three reasons in more depth and support them with a real or plausible example to make your position more convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: you introduce the topic, present several positive points, and finish with a concluding statement. Linking phrases such as “for example,” “on the other hand,” and “to be more clear” show an effort to connect ideas. However, the progression is difficult to follow because points are repeated and not grouped into clear paragraphs. “On the other hand” suggests a contrast, but the following point about industry expansion is also presented as a benefit. Repeated phrases such as “one of the positive trend” and “to be more clear” make the connections mechanical, while references such as “they” and “these industry” are sometimes unclear. Use separate paragraphs for distinct reasons and choose linking expressions that accurately show the relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “eco-tourism,” “environment,” “animals,” “industry,” and “strict rule,” so the main subject is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “positive trend,” “to be more clear,” and “harm nature.” Frequent word-choice, word-form, and spelling problems sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to understand, as in “eco-tourist way to travelling,” “they took take,” and “compitition.” Aim to learn accurate collocations such as “travel responsibly,” “protect wildlife,” and “environmental regulations,” and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you explain the benefits rather than relying on repeated general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to express reasons and examples, and use a few longer structures, such as “due to eco-tourist travel the industry of expanding.” However, sentence structures are limited, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur frequently, sometimes obscuring meaning. For example, “people are travel” needs a correctly formed verb, while “these industry take care” has an agreement error. The opening sentence also lacks clear grammatical structure, and several clauses are joined without reliable punctuation. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “which,” or “so.” Check each sentence for a clear subject and verb, correct tense, and appropriate punctuation.
