Student answer (Band 4.5)

Environment is the most important factor for tourists

According to me it is a positive trend because majority of the people love to travel in a good environment. Overall the major percentage of individuals prefer to travel and enjoy in a friendly and enjoyable weather because of this Eco Tourism industry is increasing and growing rapidly in these days. Moreover 85% of locals who is living in our area they also love to travel in a friendly environment to enjoy thier tourism There is a huge reason behind this Because everyone love to enjoy thier tourism in a good environment. Apart from this Human Beings love to travel in friendly and professional environment. In my area 95% of population prefers tourism in a great and responsible environment because In our area in summer season there is too much hot temperature Even Sometimes temperature will go upto 55 degree centigrade So In this weather No One can travel because of hot temperature However In winter season Temperature will become normal with a lovely weather So this is the big reason that human beings prefers to be a eco Tourist because as a eco tourist they can travel peacefully in a familiar environment with a good temperature So this is a huge reason that our eco tourism industry is increasing and growing very fast in these days and I think it is a positive impact and it is very beneficial for us to increase our Tourism industry So I totally agree this statement that it is very helpful for travellers

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state a clear view that eco-tourism is positive, especially in the opening (“it is a positive trend”) and conclusion (“I totally agree”). You also give a local example about very hot summers and more comfortable winter conditions. However, the response only minimally addresses the question because it focuses mainly on people preferring pleasant weather, rather than explaining how environmentally responsible tourism benefits the environment or communities. The repeated claims about 85% and 95% of local people are not explained or connected to reliable examples. Develop a few relevant reasons—for instance, how low-impact travel protects habitats or supports local livelihoods—and explain each one with a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response has a recognisable overall direction: it gives an opinion, offers a local-weather example, and ends by restating agreement. Basic linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Apart from this,” and “However” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, the ideas are not arranged coherently into clear paragraphs, and several points repeat the same claim that people enjoy travelling in a good or friendly environment. The long sequence of ideas, with little punctuation, makes relationships between claims difficult to follow; for example, the temperature example runs directly into the conclusion. Organise the response into an introduction, separate body paragraphs with one main reason each, and a conclusion. Use linking words only where they show a genuine relationship.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “eco-tourism industry,” “responsible environment,” and “population,” so the general topic is understandable. However, the vocabulary is basic and highly repetitive: “environment,” “travel,” “tourism,” and “good” recur without much variation. Some expressions are imprecise or unnatural, such as “enjoy their tourism,” “friendly and professional environment,” and “a familiar environment”; these do not clearly describe environmentally responsible travel. Spelling errors such as “thier” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise range around the topic, including terms for conservation, local communities, and low-impact travel, and check spelling and collocations when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences and use basic structures to express an opinion and give reasons. The main message is generally recoverable, and there are examples of simple clauses that communicate clearly. However, sentence structures are limited, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and punctuation make the response difficult to read in places. For example, “85% of locals who is living” needs plural agreement, while “human beings prefers” also has incorrect subject–verb agreement. “Everyone love” should use a singular verb, and the extended sentence beginning “In my area 95%” needs clearer sentence boundaries. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine related ideas using controlled complex structures.
