Student answer (Band 5.5)

as we all know environment is the gift given to us by good . the place where we all live and enjoy our services. but due to over population we all are using things of environment very greadly which causing harm to us as well as environment. but some educated people introuduce eco- tourism. eco tourism is the way in which people visit new places but without violating the rules of that particular area like: without spreading garbage, etc.

people have different views but i think that it is the best way to preserve our environment by taking baby steps by ourself to preserve our holy home. however it may takes long time to spread across people but in this modern world people start to aware them more. so this process contains our self responsibility and using eco friendly ways of travelling like by using dustbins , using public transport to travel etc. first these things help local people to earn some money in addition to that it help them to grow their surrounding as well.

as we all know that in countries like bali , thailand etc. the main source of their income is tourism so they use more resources to develop their places so they can attracts more people and due to that they have to set new rules to make their belongings safe so they can provide them best services in addition to that its not only their accountability to maintain the place decorum its our moral value as well to maintain the place beauty.

in conclusion i would like to say that eco-tourism is the best way to encourage tourism as it provides better result and provide safe tour of that place and spread peace and cleanliness due to which this trend is spreading like fire and considered as positive trend.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you consider eco-tourism a positive trend, and you explain that responsible travel can protect places while supporting local people. The examples of using public transport and bins make the idea practical, and the discussion of Bali and Thailand gives some relevant context. This addresses the main question, but several points are asserted rather than explained. For instance, the claim that tourism income helps communities “grow their surrounding” is unclear, and the discussion of new rules does not show specifically how eco-tourism benefits the environment. Develop each reason with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation or a concrete example, and make the benefits and any limitations more precise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to supporting paragraphs and a conclusion, and the overall positive position is easy to follow. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to track because several ideas are joined in long sentences, particularly the paragraph beginning “as we all know that in countries like bali.” Linking phrases such as “in addition to that” and “due to that” are repeated and do not always show the exact relationship between ideas. Some references, including “they” and “their belongings,” are also unclear. Give each paragraph one main purpose, divide long sentences, and use more precise links and references to make the reasoning flow more smoothly.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “eco-tourism,” “environmentally-friendly,” “public transport,” and “resources,” so the reader can understand the subject and your main message. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “using things of environment very greadly,” “grow their surrounding,” and “maintain the place decorum.” Spelling errors such as “introuduce” and “attracts” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise phrases that express environmental impact and community benefits, and check spelling and word forms carefully. For example, “use natural resources excessively” and “support local development” would communicate your ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and some relationships between ideas are conveyed successfully. However, complex sentences often become difficult to control, especially where several clauses are joined with “but,” “so,” or “in addition to that.” There are also recurring errors in verb forms and agreement: “it may takes,” “people start to aware,” and “they can attracts” should use correctly formed verbs. Articles and sentence boundaries need attention too; for example, the opening begins with a lower-case “as,” and several sentences start with “but” after a full stop. Build accuracy by writing shorter complete sentences first, then combining them with controlled subordinate clauses.
