Student answer (Band 4.0)

In recent year, the global tourism sector has witnessed a significant shift as growing environmental consciousness driven the rise of the environment and now people are trying to grow eco-tourist travelling in responsible for the environment and it is also benefits of the environmentally friendly ways. In my opinion, this is an overwhilmingly travelling the expension of that people learn more and more they have rapidly grow with this environment. Moreover, i think the eco-tourist industry is expanding all the things and not accepted the travelling environmentally or friendly. However, if people have eco-tourist and they came in our country we are really supportive for them and helping each and everythings. Althoughh, they became environmentally-friendly with us and growing rapidly choosen to be eco-tourist. For example, if any tourism has come in my country we have a try to connect with them because sometimes it give you a positive vibe and learn that things and it's aslo benefits for us and our country. Approximately, growing day by day environment most of people think of that this relevant and own knowledge and protect their every situation. On the other hand, if we become and naturally environmentally-friendly with them and they could also make a huge of tourism industry and now this is postive trend that could all are doing the things and mentained the worst of sides. Therefore, many tourism has a consciousness of that areas either place they are visit and showing their adventure like vlogging and making video capturing every moment when they are exploring the place. Last but not least, particularl people have more and more becoming an environmentally or friendly with them and try to do a little conversation you learn a new things and we also get an oppertunities to talke with them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The response makes an attempt to answer whether eco-tourism is positive, and the closing statement calls it a “positive trend.” It also offers a personal example about welcoming tourists and learning from them. However, the position is difficult to identify consistently: the opening says “overwhilmingly” but does not complete a clear judgement, and the claim that the industry is “not accepted” seems to conflict with the later support. Most points focus on meeting tourists, making videos, or gaining a “positive vibe,” rather than explaining environmental benefits or drawbacks. To strengthen the response, state your view clearly at the start and develop two relevant reasons with specific explanations, such as how responsible travel supports conservation or reduces harm to local ecosystems.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There are some attempts to connect ideas, using expressions such as “Moreover,” “However,” “Although,” and “On the other hand.” The response also ends with a concluding phrase, “Last but not least.” However, these links often do not show a clear relationship between the ideas, and the essay is presented as one long paragraph rather than being divided into an introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. The discussion moves between welcoming visitors, environmental friendliness, tourism videos, and learning from tourists without a clear progression. Some references, such as “they” and “this,” are also unclear. Organise the response into distinct paragraphs, give each paragraph one main point, and use linking words only when their logical function is clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response attempts topic-related vocabulary, including “environmentally-friendly,” “eco-tourist,” “environmental consciousness,” and “tourism industry.” These choices show an effort to discuss the subject, but vocabulary is often repetitive or used in combinations that make the meaning difficult to follow, such as “grow eco-tourist travelling” and “maintained the worst of sides.” There are also spelling and word-form errors, including “overwhilmingly,” “postive,” “oppertunities,” and “particularl.” Aim for accurate, natural phrases rather than repeating “environmentally-friendly” and “tourism.” For example, you could use “responsible travel,” “protect natural habitats,” and “support local communities,” making sure each phrase fits the point you are explaining.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example with “Although” and “if,” but control is inconsistent and sentence boundaries are often unclear. Errors in verb forms and agreement appear in phrases such as “environmental consciousness driven the rise,” “they came in our country,” and “many tourism has a consciousness.” Articles and sentence construction are also problematic in “this is an overwhelmingly travelling the expension,” which obscures the intended meaning. Capitalisation and punctuation need attention, including the lowercase “i” and long sentences joined without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine related ideas using one controlled clause, such as “Eco-tourism can protect habitats because visitors are encouraged to follow local conservation rules.”
