Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The response is relevant to the topic and gives a generally positive view, mentioning reduced pollution, recycling, and appreciation of natural habitats. However, the position is not fully established: the conclusion stops at “I believe that” and never states the extent of your support. Several points are also unclear or insufficiently explained, such as the claim that eco-tourist transport is “cost effective” and the link between eco-friendly products and “sustainable livelihood.” The response therefore addresses the task only partially, with ideas that need clearer explanation and examples. It is also 217 words, 33 words below the required minimum; the 10 words copied from the prompt are excluded from this count. Complete the conclusion and develop your reasons with specific examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is an attempt to organise the response into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To start with,” “On the other hand,” and “Moreover” show an effort to guide the reader. However, the progression is not consistently clear. The second body paragraph shifts from transport to manufacturing and recycling, then to consumption and lifestyle without explaining how these points connect. “On the other hand” also suggests a contrast, but the paragraph continues to add positive reasons. Some references, including “they” in “they are coming in many other form,” are unclear. Use one main idea per paragraph, connect each example explicitly to eco-tourism, and ensure the conclusion completes the argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The response attempts topic-related vocabulary, including “ecosystem,” “global warming,” “recycling,” “hazardous products,” and “natural habitats.” This gives you some useful range, but errors in spelling, word form, and collocation are frequent enough to make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “protection,” “habitat,” “convenient,” and “sustainable,” which are misspelled, as well as unnatural phrases such as “nature protective lifes” and “boosting the production of sustainable livelihood.” Some wording is also repetitive, particularly references to saving the environment and ecosystem. Build accuracy by learning common environmental collocations and checking spelling, and choose precise phrases such as “protect natural habitats” or “promote sustainable livelihoods.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “which causes destruction of ecosystem” and a contrast structure beginning “while there are challenges.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. For example, “many individuals … has become aware” has subject–verb disagreement, while “using eco-tourist transport have many advantages” has an unclear grammatical subject and verb agreement. The sentence “Moreover, this trend is can lead” contains an incorrect verb construction, and the final sentence is incomplete. Practise checking agreement, articles, and complete sentence structure, especially when combining several ideas. Aim for shorter, complete sentences before adding more complex clauses.
