Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You state a clear overall view in the opening, calling the expansion of eco-tourism “a positive thing,” and you mention relevant benefits such as enjoying natural places and learning about ecosystems. However, the response only partly addresses the question: most of the discussion describes why people travel, rather than explaining how eco-tourism benefits the environment or society, and the promised discussion of the industry stops mid-sentence at “they make a high bill whic”. The position is not developed with specific reasons or examples, and the response is 197 words, below the required 250; 23 copied words from the prompt were not counted. To strengthen the answer, explain the positive effects and any drawbacks, then support each point with a concrete example and a complete conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is an attempt to organise the response: an opening gives your position, “to begin with” introduces a main discussion, and “Now, I want to talk about” signals a new point. These markers help the reader recognise some shifts in topic. However, the ideas do not progress clearly from the question about whether the trend is positive. The paragraph moves among holidays, adventure, finances and destinations without showing how each point supports the argument, and the final sentence is unfinished. Several ideas are repeated, such as people enjoying vacations in tourist places. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons and conclusion, and connect each example explicitly to the effect of eco-tourism.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “eco-tourists,” “environmentally-friendly,” “natural eco system” and “financial crisis.” These choices show some awareness of the subject and allow the reader to identify the general topic. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations are frequent enough to make parts of the response difficult to follow, for example “eco-tourisam,” “treanding thing for relife,” and “natural tourist sports.” Some words are repeated, particularly “people,” “enjoy” and “vacation,” which limits variety. Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling, word forms and collocations; for instance, use “natural attractions” rather than “natural tourist sports,” and “relaxation” rather than “relife.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You use mostly simple statements and make some attempts to join ideas with longer structures, such as “They go there because they can enjoy and free themselves…” and “Some people who have many financial resources…”. This gives the response a basic range of sentence forms. However, control is inconsistent: “The eco-tourism is rapidly increasing” has an unnecessary article and an awkward verb pattern, while “many people is choosing” has subject–verb disagreement. Other examples include “Teach them many things,” which is not a complete sentence, and “if people go them for toure,” where the clause structure is unclear. Practise complete sentences, agreement, articles and clause construction, then proofread punctuation and sentence boundaries.
