Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You express a generally positive view of eco-tourism, especially when you mention enjoying clean surroundings and fresh air, and you include some related suggestions such as planting trees and teaching environmental topics. However, the response does not clearly explain how eco-tourism itself benefits the environment or address possible disadvantages, so the extent of your opinion remains underdeveloped. Several points, including public transport, plastic disposal and making videos, are listed without showing their connection to responsible tourism. The conclusion is also very brief and does not summarise a developed argument. The response is 217 words, so it does not meet the 250-word minimum; this limits the opportunity to explain and support your ideas. Focus on a clear position and develop each reason with a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

Your response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, which gives it a basic overall structure. Some linking expressions, such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore” and “In the conclusion,” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, progression within the paragraphs is difficult to follow because several different points are placed together without explanation: pollution and public transport shift abruptly to family holidays and photographs. The repeated use of “Moreover” and “because” also makes the connections feel mechanical, and some links do not clearly express the intended relationship. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, then explain it and give an example. Use pronouns and linking phrases only where their reference or logical connection is clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “environmentally-friendly,” “pollution,” “public transport,” “plastic bottles” and “fresh air,” so the general subject is usually identifiable. However, the range is basic and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “people,” “environment” and “grow the plants.” There are also frequent spelling and word-choice problems, such as “expending” for “expanding,” “picturies” and “enivernment.” Some expressions are difficult to interpret naturally, including “the environment is increasing” and “make the environment industry company.” Build a more accurate set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations. More precise wording will help you explain environmental effects and tourism practices clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You mainly use simple sentences and make some attempts to join ideas with clauses, for example, “because people use the private vehicles” and “because children's gain alot of knowledge.” This shows an effort to express reasons, but sentence patterns are often incomplete or inaccurately formed. Examples include “It is bad effect on the human healths,” “it is benefits of health,” and “government should compulsary to the study,” where articles, agreement or sentence structure make the meaning unclear. Punctuation and spacing are also inconsistent, particularly where sentences run together. Practise accurate subject–verb patterns and complete sentences before adding more complex clauses. Proofread for articles, plural forms and punctuation so your ideas are easier to follow.
