The diagram below shows a town square and surrounding area in 2014 and the plans for development of the area to be completed by 2020. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The pictorial representation demonstartes the data related to the renovation happened in the town square and surrounding area in 2020. Moreover, figures also depicts map of 2014.
Overall, the map of town square had changed completely and major changes happened in th centre of town square. Moreover, position of fountain and town hall remain unchanged. Several new shops had installed at eastern and south eastern side of map.
Towards the northern side, fish market had converted into the super market and the location of townhall remained same. In the centre of town children playground, covered cities and plants beds were constructed there by removing bandstand from upperright right corner. Earlier, small portion was covered by fish restaurant and bars. Afterwards, in 2020 all lane had changed into bars and restaurant including library. In 2014, there was administrative building in the eastern side and they got replaced by shops in 2020. History museum had shifted into local art gallery in 2020.
