IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The diagram below shows a town square and surrounding area in 2014 and the plans for development of the area to be completed by 2020. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The rescent diagram highlight details about a town square in 2014 and the new changes in 2020.
Overall,the diagram illustrate a time square in 2014 it was little empty whears by 2020 it contained various new features and become considerably more developped , with new several facilities and changes .
In 2014 the square town contain a history museum and a library on the western side . Also there was a fish market and town hall on the northen side . While a fish restaurent and bar was located in the south , a bandstand stood inty the center of the square .
By 2020 we noticed significant changes to start with the fish market and town hall remainded in their original place .
Several new facilities like the plants ,children's playground and a large foutain in the center with coverd seating .
However the new art gallery in place of the old musieum and shops , it become more develloped and organisied .
