IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows a town square and surrounding area in 2014 and the plans for development of the area to be completed by 2020. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The diagram is shows a surrounding area in 2014 and the other is showing about the development of the area completed in 2020.

Overall as you can see the first diagram is about 2014 which is under development.it has three main entrance. When you enter in it there is a fish market and the other side is located with Town hall.In the front of town hall here is a band stand and the center is covered with fountain.On the left hand here is the history museum and a library.As you can see here is a fish resturant and a bar opposite the fish market and town hall.

So by having a glance on 2020 there is a lot of changes.Fish market is replace with supermarket and town hall is sitll exist.Museum is replaces with local artists gallery.In front of super market here is a plant beds.Center is covered with fountain and on the other hand here is a childrens play ground and covered seating area due to development now it has four entrance.
