IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows a town square and surrounding area in 2014 and the plans for development of the area to be completed by 2020. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given figure shows that there will be expected to inaugurate the place with some modifications in 2020 as compared to 2014.

Commence with, in the northern east side of a town square, there was a fish market but it is expected to switch with supermarket in upcoming years(2020). The townhall will be stayed same at it's place which is in northern west side. Moreover, in west side,history museum will change with local artist' gallery and behind it, library will not be there in 2020.

In south, fish restaurant which was there in 2014 but will not be there in 2020. In the center of the townhall, fountain will stay similar at it's location but there will be some availability of children playground, plant beds, covered seating for making it more convenient. In the East side, administrative buildings will be replaced by some different shops.
