Student answer (Band 6.0)
Pollution is the major concern of current era, however people are more aware of it due to health and other consequences they face in return and are participating in recycle things. Yet, some people and I , believe that we need to reduce the use of things cause pollution, and can adopt options which are less harmful such as paper bad instead of plastic one. This essay will discuss both the parameters before my opinion.
Apparently, health issue is the major concern today ,which is increasing day by day with the increased pollution , hence, many people are promoting recycle things which reduce waste and health risk as well. For example, in China, people only use material that can be recycled , as a result Chinese people are very health as compared to other countries .
Although, recycle is the process, helps a lot to make less pollution, some people and I think that, only recycle does not help nation in develop , we need to eradicate or reduce the use of such things which are not recycled, plastic, for example, and we need to plant more and more trees, so we get more paper products rather than plastic. Moreover, plastics make soil unfertile and which leads to reduce agricultural lands, as a result it would be difficult to grow edibles.
To sum up, though reusing things reduce the waste, pollution and making people healthier, but making continue path is also necessity. Additionally, reducing plastic and planting more trees not only benefits to clean environment but also make soil fertile and produce goods.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views—recycling and consuming less—and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The example regarding China is a generalization that lacks nuance and does not fully support the argument about recycling's efficacy. The discussion on consuming less is better developed, but the link between planting trees and reducing plastic consumption is slightly tenuous. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific, logical evidence for your claims and ensure that the 'opinion' part of the prompt is integrated more seamlessly throughout the body paragraphs rather than just mentioned in the introduction and conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as the transition 'Although, recycle is the process, helps a lot'. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and some sentences feel disjointed. While the progression of ideas is generally easy to follow, the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their intended nouns. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs could be more cohesive.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'participating in recycle things' instead of 'participating in recycling' and 'making continue path' which is non-standard. The repetition of words like 'pollution', 'recycle', and 'things' limits the range. To improve, you should focus on using more precise collocations and academic vocabulary. For example, instead of 'things', use 'materials', 'commodities', or 'products'. Expanding your range to include more sophisticated synonyms will help convey your ideas more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Common issues include incorrect verb forms ('people are very health'), missing articles ('the major concern of current era'), and awkward phrasing ('which leads to reduce agricultural lands'). While the meaning is generally clear, these errors are persistent. To achieve a higher score, you need to demonstrate better control over sentence construction, particularly with subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and prepositions. Focusing on proofreading for these basic errors would significantly improve your score.
