Student answer (Band 5.0)
The care for the environment is increasing and alot of the public is adopting the method of the recycling. although some people thinks that recycling is not the only solution. They think that we need to use less things.in my opinion reycycling should done but we also need to consume less so that the less trash is created and no need to recycle .
the concern for the environment is increasing day by day. Which is also justfied .as the papulation is increasing rapidatily and as the papulation is increasing so the use of the product is also increasing day by day . Due to which the land polution is a\lso increasing to get rid of this the solution is the the recycling. reycycling . For example in our daily life we use plactic in our daily life that plastic can be in the form of the plastic bags and plastic bags also.we can recycled it again and again and for daily use purpose and also by this we can avoid the land polution and can secure our environment.
The land polution can be controlled also by consuming less plastic and the things that create the land polution. in now days the land polution is increasing rapidatily because of the growing papulation also as papulation increased the use of polution cause product also increased so if the public reduce the use of the that product. For example the less use of the plastic bags and bottles can reduce the land papul;ation.
people have the two point of views regarding the reduction of the land polution. some people asuggest the recycling of the product and few believe about the less use of product.
In my opinion reycycling should be done regularly but also we should consume less to avoid the land polution. we should be intermediate between this we should avoid the the unnesessary use of the plastic and the product that cause the polution. And should make sure the regular recyclin g also.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the importance of recycling and the argument for reduced consumption. However, the development is limited. The ideas are repetitive, particularly the focus on plastic and land pollution, which prevents a more nuanced discussion of the topic. While a position is stated, it lacks depth and clear supporting evidence beyond general statements. The essay would benefit from exploring the economic or societal implications of these two approaches to provide a more comprehensive argument. The conclusion is present but essentially restates the introduction without adding new insight.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The flow between sentences is often disjointed, and the use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate (e.g., 'Due to which', 'in now days'). There is significant repetition of phrases, such as 'the concern for the environment is increasing', which makes the text feel circular rather than progressive. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks clear topic sentences and supporting arguments, making it difficult for the reader to follow the development of the ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, relying heavily on basic terms like 'things', 'product', and 'use'. There are frequent spelling errors such as 'reycycling', 'papulation', 'rapidatily', and 'polution', which occasionally impede readability. The student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary, but the lack of variety and the persistent spelling issues restrict the range. To improve, the student should focus on learning synonyms for common words and ensuring the correct spelling of key terms related to the environment and sustainability.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response relies primarily on simple sentence structures. Attempts at complex sentences are often marred by grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('some people thinks') and incorrect article usage ('the recycling', 'the land polution'). Punctuation is inconsistent, with missing spaces after periods and unnecessary commas. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of errors is high, and the range of structures is quite narrow. The student needs to focus on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles to improve clarity and accuracy.
