Student answer (Band 6.0)
The concern for the environment is real, and we've to be more and more concerned about this.
On the first hand, I sure about recycling has a major impact of the environment such as global warming and micro plastic infiltration into the soil. In my point of view we have to encourage the society to keep on recycling and never leave their rubbish into nature. The recycling programs tries to motivate the society by giving them back the guarantee that they've paid for, when they purchased the bottles of water, soda etc. But when we're talking about recycle we don't have to stop just at bottles. Bottles are only a small percent of the recipients made from plastic that we're using to. Also we need to think about bags, disposable cups, plates etc, things that in this momentum we don't pay a guarantee for them, and in this case, people aren't motivated to recycle them.
On the other hand, consuming less can have a much more impact for the environment than just recycling. By consuming less, I'm thinking of using fewer recipients made from plastic and stop using plastic disposable things which have substitute made from other kind of materials that are environment friendly. Also if people choose to use plastic containers, the government has to encourage them to use it constantly until the containers won't be functional anymore and recycle them.
To conclude, this attitude by recycling, re-using plastic containers and consuming less, can have a major impact of the environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views regarding recycling and consuming less. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the benefits of recycling and the importance of reducing consumption, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. For instance, the discussion on 'guarantee' schemes is a bit repetitive and does not fully explore the broader environmental implications of consumerism. To reach a higher band, ensure that each viewpoint is supported by more detailed reasoning or real-world examples. Your position is clear, but the overall development of the argument remains basic, which aligns with the descriptors for a band 5.5 or 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use basic cohesive devices like 'On the first hand' (which should be 'On the one hand') and 'To conclude'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions are slightly awkward, such as 'in this momentum'. The referencing is generally clear, but the logical progression within paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect your ideas more fluidly. The structure is sufficient for a band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You use some relevant terms like 'micro plastic infiltration' and 'disposable', but there are also instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'recipients' (when you likely meant 'receptacles' or 'containers') and 'in this momentum'. There are also some minor collocation issues, such as 'major impact of the environment' instead of 'on the environment'. To improve, focus on learning more sophisticated collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to environmental issues.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally hinder the flow. Examples include 'we've to be' (we have to be), 'I sure about recycling has' (I am sure that recycling has), and 'until the containers won't be functional' (until the containers are no longer functional). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Increasing your control over verb tenses and modal verbs would significantly improve your accuracy.
