Student answer (Band 5.0)
In modern era, environment concern has significantly increased day by day due to that section of society is prefer to recycle however, other individuals said that this not only solution for that we have to control our daily needs. I believe recycling in the best solution to overcome the issue whilst, people have to understood value of the environment.
the first prior cause of my agreement is that, recycling process reduces large amount of waste which is the crucial part of social health. to elaborate it, some source of waste such as, plastic bottles ,paper, cans might be recycled and used again instead of throwing them into the area and lands. furthermore , this process play a significant role to save trees and other plants because if we can reuse paper so there is no need to cut down trees for this process which help to enhance awareness . for example, recent news article declare that 80% of new business started recycle firm which help to decrease environmental causes.
second prior cause of my strong belief is that we have to consume less product which could not be recycled. to explicate it, there are some product which can not reuse so that it require new production ,however we can reduce utilize these products in our daily life routine which can assist to natural recourse. on the other hand, if people do not spend to much on clothes and requirement which they have already had which play vital role to overcome above matter.
in conclusion, although recycling process play significant role to save environment however , individuals awareness regarding this matter have been beneficial for natural resources.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the view that recycling is sufficient and the view that we need to consume less, while also providing the author's own opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and occasionally unclear due to expression issues. For instance, the argument in the second body paragraph relies on general statements about reducing waste without deep extension, and the third paragraph attempts to discuss consuming less but struggles with clarity in places like 'some product which can not reuse so that it require new production'. The position is stated but remains somewhat vague. Overall, the performance meets the criteria for Band 5.5, rounding down to a stable Band 5.0 for task fulfillment and idea development.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into recognizable paragraphs with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, overall progression is hindered by frequent mechanical and awkward transitions, such as 'the first prior cause of my agreement' and 'second prior cause of my strong belief'. Cohesive devices are often used inaccurately or repetitively. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and punctuation errors disrupt the flow of sentences, such as missing capital letters at the beginning of sentences ('the first prior cause...', 'in conclusion,...'). Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion is weak. These features place the response firmly in Band 5.0 for Coherence and Cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The lexical resource is limited and adequate only for basic communication. The student attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'environmental causes', 'crucial part', and 'significant role', but these are often used with inappropriate collocations or word choices (e.g., 'environment concern', 'reduce utilize', 'natural recourse' instead of resources). There are frequent errors in word formation and spelling ('to much' instead of too many/much, 'understood' instead of understand). Vocabulary range is restricted, and repetition of basic terms like 'recycle', 'process', and 'product' occurs throughout the text. This aligns with the Band 5.0 descriptors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but complex sentences are frequently faulty. Examples of grammatical errors include subject-verb agreement issues ('section of society is prefer'), tense confusion ('recent news article declare'), and incorrect preposition or particle usage ('spend to much on clothes and requirement which they have already had'). Punctuation and capitalization are poorly controlled, with numerous sentences starting in lowercase and awkward comma splices. Frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from achieving a higher band. The grammar is representative of Band 5.0.
