Student answer (Band 4.5)
In this era, problem of pollution was raises rapidly.many individuals belives in recyle. However some belives that recycle is not enough in addition they belive we need to use less number of products. In this eassy i will discuss both views and give my opinion.
Firsly, who belive in recycle there are some reasons for that. The first reason for that by recycling products it helps to not create new ones.for example in my house if we have old cloths then my mother went to tailor and stiches old cloths into bags.As result we does not have to use plastic bag and it makes some positive contribution on pollution.another reason belive in recycle is in many country if people will recycle the bottles so they get some money or cuopons . so they can spend their money on nessecary things.
On the other hand there are people who suggest the recyclin is not enough.there are many reason for that. firstly by just recycle the products it helps to npe to creats new ones but if we ignor the product which harm full to environment it way better than recycle. For instance,In india many vegetable vendors does not supply plastic bags to consumers and it hepls environmet that after use people do not throw plastic product on road.other reason is that people has to do some work like they have to forget their habitd like throwing food and products which cause environment.
In conclusion, form my perspective only recycling is not helps to save environment .if we just recycle product we do not have to buy new ones ans on the other hand people who belive not only recyle is because of the civic sense and throw old food and garbeg outside the home.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The student addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on recycling and consumption, and includes a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion on why recycling is supported mentions reusing old clothes and earning coupons, but these ideas lack deeper extension. Similarly, the counter-argument regarding consuming less is supported by a brief example of vegetable vendors in India, but the explanation remains superficial. The student's position is discernible throughout the essay, but the overall development fits the Band 5 descriptors where ideas are present yet under-developed and lack sufficient support.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5
The essay is divided into four paragraphs, showing an attempt at a standard structure including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression is hindered by frequent mechanical and faulty cohesive devices. Words like 'Firsly', 'In addition', and 'On the other hand' are used, but referencing is often unclear, and transitions between sentences feel abrupt. For example, the sentence 'another reason belive in recycle is in many country if people will recycle the bottles so they get some money or cuopons' demonstrates poor cohesive control and run-on phrasing. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal logical organisation is weak, leading to a score that aligns closely with Band 4 in terms of clarity and cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The lexical resource is limited and basic, with frequent spelling errors such as 'eassy', 'Firsly', 'belives', 'recyle', 'cloths', 'stiches', 'cuopons', 'nessecary', 'npe', 'creats', 'harm full', 'hepls', 'environmet', 'habitd', 'ans', 'garbeg', and capitalization issues throughout. The vocabulary used is repetitive, relying heavily on words like 'recycle', 'products', 'environment', and 'pollution'. While the student attempts to express complex ideas, the severe spelling and word-form inaccuracies cause noticeable strain for the reader, placing the response firmly in the Band 4 category for lexical resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
Grammatically, the essay exhibits a very limited range of structures, with frequent errors in tense, subject-verb agreement, punctuation, and sentence boundary errors. Sentences such as 'In this era, problem of pollution was raises rapidly.' and 'for example in my house if we have old cloths then my mother went to tailor and stiches old cloths into bags.' display severe foundational grammatical inaccuracies. There is a lack of error-free complex sentences, and basic punctuation (such as missing spaces after periods and commas) is widely neglected. These persistent errors frequently impede communication and restrict the score to Band 4.
