Concern for the environment is increasing and most of people choosing to recycle. But some masses think that recycling is not enough. Individuals believe that we need to consume less.Although this is very important to recycling because of do not waste resource,I believe that this is not enough for environment.

On the one hand, many people support the first statement because of avoid wasting resource. To elaborate, many people always recycle the things because they value of the natural things. Also, they do not want to waste resource and take care of environment. For instance, many people save the earth with help campaign and inspire the young generation to save the natural things. Thus, future generation do not face difficulty and use all resource.

On the other hand, I believe that the latter point of view give major reason is less utilized. To justify, if people consume less things in daily life and they use less resource. In addition, people do not need to recycle the things always they only fullfill their needs but not use things for entertainment.Another reason given by them is growth the trees. This means that people take care the environment in many ways such as plant trees and less pollute. People can use e-vehicles and growth the trees in spare place and take care them always. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses both views regarding recycling and consuming less, and presents a clear personal opinion. The main ideas are presented, but some parts are under-developed and lack sufficient elaboration. For example, the explanation regarding consumption and entertainment is somewhat unclear and repetitive. While the prompt asks for discussion on both views and an opinion, which the student attempts to do, the supporting arguments rely heavily on generalisations rather than well-extended examples. Overall, the task is addressed to a Band 5.5 level, as the position is clear and all parts of the prompt are touched upon, but the development of ideas remains limited.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay is divided into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing basic paragraphing. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and confusing sentence structures. Cohesive devices are sometimes used, such as 'On the one hand' and 'To conclude', but they are often mechanical or misused, as seen with 'give major reason is less utilized'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult to follow the flow of arguments at times. Paragraphing is present, but the internal cohesion places this response at a Band 5.0 level.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, with frequent reliance on simple words like 'things', 'people', and 'resource'. There are noticeable lexical errors and inappropriate collocations throughout the text, such as 'because of do not waste resource', 'growth the trees', and 'less pollute'. These errors occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader in fully grasping the intended meaning. While the student attempts some topic-related vocabulary like 'environment', 'recycle', and 'campaign', the range is limited and minimally adequate, fitting the Band 5.0 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, with frequent basic errors in sentence construction, verb forms, and articles. Examples of severe grammatical inaccuracies include 'most of people choosing to recycle', 'if people consume less things in daily life and they use less resource', and 'Its beneficial for environment'. Complex sentences are attempted, but they are often faulty and contain multiple errors that frequently cause difficulty for the reader and obscure meaning. Grammatical control is weak throughout, consistent with a Band 4.5 or 5.0 performance; a score of 5.0 is awarded as communication is achieved despite the frequent errors.
