Nowadays ,there is ongoing debate amongst people that the best way to mange growing environment concern is not only recycling, but also to consume less product. So from my point of view both the views will be discuss in further paragraphs with relevant examples.

On the one hand, some individuals say the best possible way to control growing environmental concern is to recycle more and more products. For example: peoples should only buy that kind of product that can be recycle easily. Moreover, recycling of product is also beneficial for citizen to maintain their weekly spending as different uses can be taken from one particular product like T-shirt made up of cotton fabric can be used as an floor cleaning or window cleaning cloth after its rough and tough usage.

On the other hand other people argued that recycling is not the only solution to control growing environmental concern, various steps should be taken by every citizen’s to control environmental damage such as optimum utilisation of product, use single use only plastic, throw garbage according to their nature like dry waste, solid waste and use less amount of product as we use less product it will directly helps to create less pollution to environment . Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the view that recycling is crucial and the view that we need to consume less. The writer also includes a personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion on recycling mentions buying recyclable products and reusing a t-shirt as a cleaning cloth, but these points are underdeveloped and lack broader societal examples. The opinion is stated rather than deeply extended. Therefore, this performance meets the criteria for Band 6, as all parts are addressed with relevant ideas, but some areas lack sufficient extension and depth.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt at paragraphing, separating the introduction, two body paragraphs for the opposing views, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion' are employed to guide the reader through the text. However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, the transitional phrase 'So from my point of view both the views will be discuss in further paragraphs' is awkward, and punctuation errors around conjunctions disrupt the flow. Progression is present, but logical transitions can feel forced, placing the response firmly in Band 6.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The student displays an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'optimum utilisation', 'environmental concern', and 'consumptions'. However, there are noticeable word choice and collocation errors, such as 'mange growing environment concern' (manage growing environmental concerns), 'peoples should' (people should), and 'use single use only plastic' (use single-use plastics). Spelling errors like 'pamplets' instead of 'pamphlets' also occur. These inaccuracies do not impede overall communication, but they restrict the lexical score to Band 5.5, rounded to 5.5 based on descriptor matching for adequate range with frequent noticeable errors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as conditional or relative-style clauses ('as we use less product it will directly helps...'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('it will directly helps'), missing articles ('as an floor cleaning'), and awkward phrasing ('different uses can be taken from one particular product'). Punctuation is also problematic, particularly with spaces before commas ('Nowadays ,there') and run-on sentences in the body paragraphs. These errors occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, aligning the grammar with Band 5.
