Student answer (Band 5.0)

There is no doubt that environmental damage has been soaring each passing day. some folks encouraging to recycle, ctitics claim that recycling is not merely helpful people should control their food eating habits. I will discuss both phenomenas and provide my perspective in the upcoming paragraphs.

Although, there are wide range of advantages of recycling, perhaps the most obvious is to decrease the product waste which leads to digging and burning them. To elaborate it more, recycling may save our environment as the products can be recycled and used over and over again, which rescue our envirnonment from gettong polluted. However, this could not be a only way to contribute in safer environment people should take some more steps instead.

Recycling products can assist the environment a little in order to conserve the environment, there must be some other efforts made one of them is to consume less. As massive products are produced without any need and unnecessary shopping has been done for such things, therefore masses are expected to buy only those things which are necessary for them, especially when they how much this extra shopping may cause envirmental damage.Since we can not recycle some things such as cloths, disposable items. In this way, they would not only preserve the environment but also save their money for future emergencies.

In conclusion, there is no an iota of doubt that only recycling would not help the surroundings, a few other actions should be taken to tackle the issue as consuming less.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views and state a position: recycling helps, but people should also consume less. The discussion of reduced consumption is more developed, with the point that unnecessary purchases create environmental harm and that buying less can save money. However, the recycling view is explained mainly through reducing waste and reusing products, and the claim that products lead to “digging and burning” is unclear. The essay would be more complete with a specific example and fuller explanation of how recycling helps, as well as a clearer comparison of the two approaches. Your conclusion repeats the central opinion but does not add much. The response is also one word below the required minimum, so ensure you meet the task length.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on recycling and consuming less, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the two sides. Some progression is present, particularly when you move from the benefits of recycling to the need for additional action. However, links between ideas are sometimes mechanical or unclear. For example, “Recycling products can assist the environment a little in order to conserve the environment” repeats the same idea, while the long sentence beginning “As massive products are produced” combines several points without clear relationships. Use clearer topic sentences and divide complex explanations into shorter units. More precise referencing and transitions would make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycle,” “product waste,” “environmental damage,” and “consume less,” so the main subject is generally clear. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “contribute in safer environment” and “tackle the issue,” but several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural and can make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “food eating habits,” “digging and burning them,” and “save our environment from gettong polluted.” Spelling errors such as “phenomenas,” “envirnonment,” and “envirmental” are noticeable. Build a more reliable range of environmental collocations and check spelling and word forms; this will help you express relevant ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a relative clause in “which leads to digging and burning them” and a conditional-style explanation beginning “Since we can not recycle some things.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to interrupt reading. For example, “some folks encouraging to recycle” lacks a finite verb, and “there are wide range” has an agreement and article problem. In “people should take some more steps instead,” the sentence boundary is unclear, while the final sentence fragment beginning “Since we can not recycle” is not joined correctly to the preceding idea. Practise complete sentence formation, articles, agreement, and punctuation, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
