Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You introduce the topic and attempt to give an opinion, saying, “I blieved that recycling is a very huge issue so we consume less.” However, the response does not meaningfully discuss both views: it gives no explanation of how recycling helps, why some people favour consuming less, or what your own position means in practice. The ideas are not supported with reasons or examples, so the task is addressed only minimally. The response also falls substantially short of the required 250 words, leaving too little space to develop the discussion. To improve, explain each view in a separate paragraph, state your position clearly, and support it with a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.0

The response has a basic sequence: it begins with population and demand, mentions recycling and reduced consumption, and ends with an attempted opinion. This gives the reader a general sense of the topic. However, all the points are compressed into one paragraph and linked in a single long sentence, so the relationship between the two views is difficult to follow. The contrast signalled by “while” is not developed, and “Although recycling is possible” is left as an incomplete concluding thought. Use separate paragraphs for the two perspectives and your opinion, and connect each point with clear, accurate transitions. This would create a more coherent progression rather than a list of loosely connected claims.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “population,” “demand,” “recycle,” and “consume less,” so the general subject is recognisable. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “concern for the environment.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear: “population around the global,” “required product reach at top position,” and “adopt less” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “blieved” and “aurged” also reduce accuracy. Build a more reliable range of environmental vocabulary and check common word partnerships. For example, use “the global population,” “demand for products is increasing,” and “reduce consumption.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to combine ideas using clauses and contrast, as in “so the demand…” and “while other concern…,” showing some effort beyond isolated simple sentences. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries make parts difficult to understand. For instance, “the population … is increase” needs a correct verb form, while “other concern” does not agree with its subject. The opening sentence also runs through several ideas without clear punctuation, and “Although recycling is possible” is a dependent clause without a complete main clause. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with correctly punctuated contrast and cause-and-effect clauses.
